Chapter 4: Things go to hell
In the batcave...
Batman is looking through the computer with his cape removed. Alfred came with a sandwich and tea on the tray.
"Master Bruce. It's time for breakfast." said Alfred.
"I'll have it in a bit. I am developing an advanced antidote for scarecrows venon as he has intensified the concentration of Fear toxin." said Bruce as computer was running the scans while he was typing.
Alfred put the breakfast on nearby table and came near the monitor. Along with running the scans he was hearing bugs from "Amarnath Stocks Ltd".
"Master Bruce. It is illegal to eavesdrop on the conversations of the company." said Alfred frowning.
"No,I feel something suspicious about the company. There is a chance of those guys involving in insider trading. The stock exchange themselves have suspected about it.
It's not only insider trading but some of the information around the area suggests that these guys are involved in money laundering." said Batman with a serious look.
The thing he did not know is that Vishal already saw the bugs and placed them on the roof of the building and on the entrance so that no company secrets are leaked out. When he saw the bugs he was literally angry to go to the cave and slap the shit out of Batman.
During the seven years his strength has reached A+. Batman wouldn't stand a chance against him. But he controlled himself because this is not the time to get irrational.
"So, did you get anything, Master Bruce?" asked Alfred.
"No. It's either they are truly innocent or they have covered their tracks well." said Bruce.
The computer screen showed the completion of antidote and he typed to fill the syringes with the new antidote.
Vishal did not illegal business as he wanted to change things. Bruce went and ate the sandwich.
He finished half of the tea when the alert came. "Isn't that the alert for turf war between the gangs?" asked Alfred.
"Yes. Let's see." said Bruce typing with high speed.
"He hacked the cameras and saw all the crime lord's gangs making way to the tall building called "Amarnath Group of Industries."
"What's happening? Why are they attacking that company?" asked Alfred.
"Looks like the presence of the company has become a blight to the profits of the crime lords. The company had changed things for better for the people of the alley.
Since people dislike not only the crime lords but also the batman, the crime lords gained the courage to attack the company." said Batman putting on the cape.
Another alert appeared. He saw the rogues gallery along with Joker have escaped from the asylum.
"Damn it. Not now." said Batman with irritation.
"Gordon, the crime lords have sent their men to destroy "Amarnath group of Industries" and the rogues gallery broke out. I am making my way to Arkham to subdue them." said Batman.
"Very well. I'll make my way to the company with my teams." said Gordon.
Barbara was in college. Tim was in company doing his work as vice president. Damien was in school. They could not go there due to this.
Gordon and his team arrived in front of the building with riot gear and guns. They knew the situation wasn't normal.
Gordon saw the gangsters approaching with swords, guns, chains and meta bars.
The gangsters saw the police and one of the guy said "Step aside Commissioner. We want the head of "Vishal". He has caused immense losses to Falcone. Black Mask and Maroni."
"Surrender now." said Gordon aiming his gun. "Last chance, get out commissioner." said the guy.
"They didn't do anything wrong. Put your weapons down." shouted Gordon.
"Kill them and after which we will go for the father and son." said the guy.
Both the Police and the gangs did not know that this was orchestrated by Vishal.
Vishal took control of the mind of the crime lords and ordered their gangs to attack his own company.
Vishal wanted to wipe out the crime lords and their gangs with this move. Even Batman wasn't a genius to find out that these events are orchestrated without evidence.
His luck played a role where there was arkham outbreak simultaneously even though he didn't orchestrate it.
Red Hood had to back away because he can't take on these gangs by himself. He felt sad and angry inside because he met the father and son once. They told their own stories to Red Hood. He felt sympathetic towards them.
He thought that if the Mad Hatter escapes from prison he would put a bullet in his head to give some peace to the father and son.
He never even thought that crime alley and Burnley would change due to the efforts of the family.
"Stop them." shouted Gordon. The gangsters and Police clashed. Bullets were fired and bones were broken on both sides.
They did not know that Vishal has already evacuated the tower and sent the employees back home.
The gangsters took out grenades and petrol bombs to throw it at the Police which caused casualties. Gordon and the Police struggled to drive them back.
Even Batman was struggling in Arkham against the rogues. Red Hood who could not bear to see decided to intervene when suddenly he saw a figure on the floating in the top of the tower.
The figure was wearing a black long coat with a white mask and grey hat. The figure resembled a teenager who is nearly between 15 to 17 years of age.
The gangsters looked at the figure and even the police stopped.
"The crime lord's have crossed a line today. Sending their men to kill those who are earning money honestly.
As for the GCPD your incompetency is being reflected at how your are being pushed back." came a voice which sent shivers down their spines.
The guy glared at Gordon and said "You let the corruption fester in your department and many lives were lost over time. You claim to change things but you fail again and again."
Gordon couldn't reply back. Red Hood who was listening felt ominous.
"As for the Batman he is always busy playing games with Joker and the rogues gallery never caring about collateral damage which is the innocent lives.
No More. From now on there will be cleansing of Gotham with the blood of criminals." said the figure with anger.
Vishal pointed his hand to the sky and several thunderous beams selectively landed on crime lord's men and turned them into ashes.
Gotham and the Police watched in horror and shock helplessly as the guy massacred the gangs.
"I summon thee thunder. Eliminate Falcone and his gang, Black Mask and his gang, Maroni, Moxons, Yakuza and Triads from the face of Gotham.
Begin the cleansing." uttered Vishal.
Countless thunderbolts landed on numerous locations turning the gangs and criminal groups into ashes. Red Hood could not believe what he saw.
But he was happy because everytime he tried to convince his old man to take the life of Joker he would utter the same drivel of his code.
He also felt threat from the guy but based on the conversation before he could understand that the guy was irritated with the way the things are going on.
Gordon saw the guy taking lives helplessly. He decided to contact Batman to request help from the league.
After 2 minutes the thunders stopped indicating that the gangs are finished.
"Let this be a lesson to not stagnate and aggravate the problems." said the guy and disappeared from the place.
Red Hood heard those words and felt happy in his heart. Now he can clean the streets easily with crime lord's gone.
When Batman came, all he saw was ashes all over the place with Police shivering and Gordon approaching him with fear in face.
