Chapter 21: Piccolo, Goku and the Bystander
"Look. I knew that Master won't bring us clothes this year so I asked for ones to be made." Krillin said as he showed his orange gi to his friends.
However much to his surprise both Goku and Yamcha are also wearing the same go just as him.
"We think alike," Yamcha said to Goku.
"Hi hi Me too." Goku agreed with Yamcha.
"Damn, I thought I'd be original," Krillin said to Goku.
"Huh? Goku, you lost your tail?" Yamcha asked Goku.
"Ah yeah. God said he wanted the moon back. I don't understand what he is saying but he said my tail was also limiting my process." Goku said to Yamcha.
"You lost your tail? You idiot. Now you won't be able to use your strongest power at all." Dai said to Goku as he joined the conversation.
"Wait a minute! You also have a tail too?" Yamcha and Krillin said in shock as they saw the tail that was wrapped around Dai's belt.
"Hey. Why don't we cut that? I mean god said Goku's tail was holding him back." Yamcha said as he tried to approach Dai.
"Touch it and you die," Dai said to Yamcha with a scary expression on his face.
"Even if all your friends try to hold me back I will kill you the moment you tried to cut off my tail. And I am not excluding Son Goku." Dai said as he gives out a dangerous aura against Yamcha.
Which makes him back down.
"Lively isn't it? Well, be sure to be prepared. The moment I defeat you the world will be ruined." A voice was heard as Goku and Tien turned to see a somewhat familiar face.
It was the descendent of Piccolo and a genetic carbon copy of him. Simply known as Majuniour(as in Majin Junior, demon junior) but his real name is simply Piccolo.
"So you came," Goku said to the new Piccolo.
"Goku. Is that?" Tien said to Goku in shock.
"You know him Goku?" Krillin asked Goku.
"Euh. No." Goku said to Krillin.
"Goku, is he from Piccolo's family?" Tien whispered into Goku's ears.
"Yeah. But don't tell others about this to others. We don't need to frighten them." Goku said to Tien.
"Goku." Dai heard as he felt that someone patted him on his shoulder.
It was a black hair girl in a traditional blue Chinese dress.
"If you are looking for Son Goku he is right over there," Dai said as he pointed at Goku.
"Ah, I am very sorry." She said as she bowed to apologize to Dai.
"Goku." She called out as she approached Goku.
"This is going to be exciting," Dai said as he looked at Piccolo who was also very strong just like Goku.
"Who are you?" Goku asked the girl as her polite expression immediately become sour.
"Bastard." She yelled at Goku as she left angrily.
"What's her problem?" Goku said as he looked at the girl that walked away.
"Goku... Who is that?" Yamcha asked Goku.
"She is hot," Krillin noted.
"Is she?" Dai asked as he looked at the girl.
"She seems to be at normal temperature to me," Dai replied.
Krillin and Yamcha gave Dai a strange look.
"What? Does she have an ability that can manipulate temperature?" Dai asked.
Dai knows about most human customs but he is a warrior that prioritises fighting and tries to take in as much information as possible when looking at his potential opponents to find the most optimal way for fighting them.
So sometimes his brain slips out stupid comments from his mouth that he didn't think carefully before saying it.
If he is not considering the girl as his potential opponent that he needs to beat and meets her outside the tournament he might have understood what Krillin's comment meant.

A few hours later.
The preliminaries have started to decide the participants for the official tournament.
Chaiotzu tries to mix up the lottery with his powers so that Goku and the others would not end up in the same bracket.
"An old man?" Dai said as he looked at his opponent.
".... I forgot to calculate this outcome." The old man with a skinny body who was wearing a pink shirt and black pants said as he looked at Dai.
"First a strange man in pyjamas and now an old man. And I was thinking that I am going to get a little fun in the elimination round. What a joke" Dai said as he looked at the old man.
The two stepped onto the small stage where the preliminary round was held.
The two fighters got into their respective battle stands and looked at each other.
"Numbers 60 and 64 fight." One of the tournament announcers who are responsible for the preliminary round announced as Dai's true obstacle for the official tournament appeared in front of him.
At the time the battle started Dai didn't know that it was going to be one of the best matches that he enjoyed the most in this tournament.
