"Trust that you've also been enjoying your academic life?" Leopold asked his son who bore the most striking resemblance to him, other people walking past them and socializing in the expansive and majestically exquisite hall.
"A few unexpected 'things' happened but yeah, it's mostly been fun" the youth replied with a similarly warm smile.
"That's the academy for you..." Leopold responded with a nostalgic smile as he gazed farther past the Whispering Grove, seemingly looking at something else in the distance with mana sense.
"A place where the unexpected tends to happen more frequently than usual. Even reminds me of that one time I found your mum skinny-dipp-..."
Suddenly pausing in his statement, the Duke let out a dry cough while Aiden's eyes slowly widened in utter shock.
Coming to a realization, the emerald-eyed youth moved a bit closer to his father and said with a whisper, a strong wave of amusement in his tone.
"No she didn't!"
