Chapter 3: Necromancy

As the agricultural meetings began, Lily's eyes sparkled with excitement. She knew that this was her chance to share her knowledge and passion for cooking and seasoning potatoes with the rest of the village. As Gami delivered his stirring speech about the appropriate techniques for deboning poultry, beef, and pork, Lily eagerly listened from the sidelines, eagerly waiting for her turn to speak.

When the moment finally arrived, Lily took to the stage with glee, her voice ringing out with enthusiasm as she shared her various techniques for cooking and seasoning potatoes. She spoke with a contagious energy, her words inspiring the farmers to experiment with new and exciting ways to prepare their crops. As she finished her speech, the room erupted in applause, and Lily beamed with pride at the impact she had made.

After the meeting, Gami took Lily on a picturesque picnic, where they reminisced about the love they shared during their first outing. The air was filled with a sense of hope and promise, as they gazed out at the rolling hills and the sun began to set, casting a warm glow over the landscape. Lily's heart swelled with joy.

As the sun began to set, Gami and Lily sat on the picnic blanket, enjoying the last rays of warmth. They nibbled on their sandwiches and sipped their iced tea, content in each other's company. Gami's eyes sparkled as he recounted his day, telling Lily about the new project he was working on. Lily listened intently, her heart swelling with pride. "You're so talented, Gami," she said, beaming.

Gami smiled, his heart full of warmth, expressing his gratitude for Lily's support. "Thank you, Lily. Your unwavering encouragement means everything to me."

Lily took a deep breath, feeling a sense of nervousness wash over her. "Gami, there's something I've been wanting to express to you," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I have developed feelings for you. I know we've previously discussed how we're falling in love with each other, and to be honest, I'm completely enamored with you."

Gami's heart skipped a beat, his eyes widening in surprise. "Lily, you've made me the happiest man in the world," he said, taking her hand in his. "I've been yearning for this moment for so long. I love you more than words can describe."

Lily's eyes filled with tears of joy as she gazed into Gami's eyes. "I love you too, Gami," she whispered, leaning in to kiss him. As their lips met, they felt an electric current pass between them, igniting a fire that burned brighter than anything they had ever felt before.

They spent the night wrapped in each other's arms, their bodies entwined as they whispered sweet nothings to each other. Gami couldn't help but express his admiration. "You know, Lily, I've always thought you were the most beautiful woman I've ever met," he said, tracing a finger down her cheek. "And now that I know you love me too, I feel like the luckiest man in the world."

Lily giggled, feeling her heart flutter in her chest. "You're such a charmer, Gami," she said, snuggling closer to him. "But I must confess, I feel the same way about you. I can't believe I get to call you mine."

As they drifted off to sleep, they knew that their love would only grow stronger with each passing day. They had found their soulmate, and nothing would ever be able to tear them apart.

Meanwhile, in the town of Gehen, a necromancer arrived. He announced his arrival by screaming his name at the center of the town, "I am the necromancer of the fallen kingdom of before times! Bring forth your valiant and courageous soldiers so that I may disembowel them all and reanimate them! Who dares challenge me?"

The townsfolk were full of fear, but three battle-worn warriors stepped up to the challenge. The necromancer used magical spells to freeze the warriors in place. They quickly started turning into ice, and the townspeople scattered in shock and fear.

The necromancer was a terrifying sight to behold. His eyes glowed with an eerie light, and his voice sounded like the hiss of a snake. He wore a long black cloak that billowed in the wind, and his skin was as pale as death. The townspeople knew that he was a powerful mage, and that he had come to destroy them all.

Just then, a hero appeared on the scene. He had heard the necromancer's challenge and had come to stop him. The hero was a tall, muscular man with piercing blue eyes and golden hair that shone in the sunlight. He wore a suit of gleaming armor and carried a sword that glinted in the light.

The hero used all his strength and skill to break the spell that had frozen the warriors. The warriors were saved, and the hero challenged the necromancer to a duel. The necromancer laughed at the hero's challenge, and summoned a horde of undead soldiers to fight for him.

The hero and the necromancer fought a fierce battle. The necromancer cast spells that made the ground shake and the sky turn black, but the hero stood firm. The undead soldiers were relentless, and the hero was outnumbered.

Just when it seemed like all was lost, the hero summoned all his courage and strength to deliver a decisive blow. However, the necromancer was too powerful and cast a spell that froze the hero in place, turning him into a statue of ice. The necromancer laughed triumphantly and left the town, taking the hero's statue with him as a trophy.

Several weeks later in the town of Muriel.

The village chief was sitting in his study, surrounded by books and scrolls. He was deep in thought, pondering the latest news from the nearby town of Gehen.

As he read the letter, his heart sank. The news was grim: a necromancer had attacked the town, leaving many dead or injured. The village chief knew that he had to act quickly to protect his own people.

He called a meeting of the village elders, and they gathered in the town square to discuss the situation. They knew that they were facing a powerful and dangerous foe, and they needed to come up with a plan to defend their home.

After much discussion, they decided to send out scouts to gather information about the necromancer's movements and strength. They also began to prepare their defenses, fortifying the walls and training their warriors.

As the days passed, the tension in the village grew. The villagers knew that they were facing a grave threat, and they were afraid. But they also knew that they had to be strong and brave, for the sake of their families and their home.

Finally, the scouts returned with news: the necromancer was on his way, and he was bringing an army of undead soldiers with him. The village chief knew that they had to act quickly, and he rallied his warriors to prepare for battle.

The night before the battle, the villagers gathered in the town square to pray for strength and courage. They knew that they were facing a powerful and deadly foe, but they also knew that they were fighting for their homes and their families.

As the sun rose on the day of the battle, the villagers took their positions on the walls and waited for the necromancer to arrive. And when he did, they fought with all their might, using every skill and resource at their disposal to hold off the undead soldiers.

Suddenly, the wall shook with a tremendous force, and the villagers knew that the necromancer had arrived. They could hear the sound of undead soldiers pounding on the wall, trying to break through.

The archers took their positions, firing arrows at the undead soldiers as they tried to climb the wall. The spotters kept watch, alerting the villagers to any movement outside the wall. Gami was on the front lines, wielding his axe with deadly precision.

The battle was long and grueling, and the villagers began to tire. They knew that they couldn't hold out forever, but they refused to give up. They fought with all their might, using every skill and resource at their disposal.

As the night wore on, the villagers began to feel a sense of hopelessness. They knew that they couldn't hold out much longer, and they began to prepare for the worst.

The battle raged on, Gami realized that he was fighting a losing battle. The trolls were too many, too powerful, and too relentless. He knew that he needed to come up with a new strategy, and fast.

Gami looked around him, searching for inspiration. He saw the town's blacksmith, swinging his hammer with all his might, and an idea began to form in his Mind.

Gami's heart was pounding as he recalled an old prayer his parents had taught him to help him through dangerous situations. As he spoke the prayer inside his head, he suddenly caught a glimpse of a heavenly figure. The figure introduced himself as an archon angel and blessed Gami with divine affinity for holy and light magic, as well as knowledge of the spells and how to use them.

"Who... who are you?" Gami said, his voice shaking.

"I am an Archangel," the figure replied. "I have been sent to aid you in your time of need."

Gami was amazed. He had never believed in angels before, but now he was standing face to face with one. His heart was filled with a mixture of awe and fear, and he could hardly believe what was happening.

"What do I do now?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

"Use the gifts I have given you to protect yourself and those around you," the angel said, his voice soothing and comforting. "And remember, I will always be watching over you." With that, the angel disappeared, leaving Gami feeling both grateful and awestruck.

With Gami's holy magic, the sword they forged became even more powerful, infused with divine energy that could vanquish evil with a single blow. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the weapon was complete. It was a massive, two-handed sword, with a razor-sharp edge and a glowing blue gem set in the hilt.

Gami took the sword in his hands, feeling its weight and power. As Gami held the sword aloft, he felt the magic coursing through his veins, filling him with strength and courage.

The trolls were almost upon him now, their eyes glowing with malevolent glee. But Gami stood his ground, his grip firm on the sword's hilt.

And as the trolls charged, Gami raised the sword high and brought it down in a mighty arc. The sword struck the ground with a deafening crash, and a shockwave rippled out from the impact.

The trolls stumbled and fell, their bones shattering under the force of the blow.

But as the trolls began to retreat, Gami sensed that something was not right. There was a dark presence lurking in the shadows, watching and waiting. And as the townsfolk cheered and celebrated, Gami knew that their victory was only temporary.

He turned to the blacksmith, his eyes blazing with determination. "We need to find the source of this evil, and put an end to it once and for all," he said.

The blacksmith nodded, and together they set out into the wilderness, following the trail of the trolls back to their lair. As they journeyed deeper into the woods, they encountered all manner of dark creatures, from twisted goblins to malevolent spirits.

But Gami and the blacksmith were undaunted, their faith and their skill guiding them through the darkness. And as they drew closer to their goal, they began to sense that they were not alone.

Something was watching them, stalking them from the shadows. They could feel its eyes upon them, cold and unfeeling. And as they reached the entrance to the trolls' lair, they saw it for the first time.

It was a figure shrouded in darkness, its eyes glowing with an otherworldly light. And as it stepped forward, Gami realized that he was facing a foe unlike any he had ever encountered.

This was not a mere mortal, but a necromancer of pure evil, a being that had no place in the world of men. And as Gami raised his sword to strike, he knew that this would be the greatest battle of his life.

Just when it seemed like all was lost, a bright light appeared in the sky. The villagers looked up in awe as a beam of light shot down from the heavens, striking the necromancer and his army. The necromancer screamed in agony as the light consumed him, and his army crumbled to dust. The villagers looked on in amazement as the light faded, leaving behind a sense of peace and tranquility.

As the villagers looked out over the battlefield, they saw that the enemy had been vanquished. Their homes and families had been saved, and they knew that they had been blessed by a higher power.

But as they began to celebrate, Gami knew that he could not reveal the truth about his powers. He had always been a humble man, content to live a simple life and help those in need. But now, he knew that he had a greater purpose.

As the villagers gathered around him, thanking him for his bravery and his skill, Gami felt a sense of pride and accomplishment. For he knew that he had done something truly extraordinary, something that would change the course of his life forever.

There were still enemies to be vanquished, still battles to be fought. But with his newfound powers, Gami knew that he could face any challenge that lay ahead.

So he made a vow to himself and to the villagers that he would use his abilities to protect them, to defend their homes and families from all who would threaten them. And as he raised his sword to the sky, he knew that he had been blessed by a higher power, and that he would always be ready for whatever the future might hold.

Lily's relief at finding Gami unharmed was short-lived. As she looked around at the destruction that the battle had caused, she couldn't help but feel a somber tone wash over her. The village that she had grown up in, the place that she had called home for her entire life, was now in ruins.

The buildings were destroyed, the fields were burned, and many of the villagers were injured or worse. Lily knew that it would take a long time for the village to recover from this attack, if it ever did.

As she looked back at Gami, she saw the same somber expression on his face. He too was devastated by the destruction that had been wrought upon the village. But he was also determined to help rebuild it, to make it better than ever before.

Lily took comfort in Gami's strength and resilience. She knew that he would be there for her and for the village, no matter what. Together, they would face the challenges that lay ahead and emerge stronger on the other side.

Lily pulled away from Gami and looked at him with a serious expression. "We have to do something," she said, her voice shaking. "We can't just stand here and watch our village be destroyed."

Gami nodded in agreement, his own voice choked with emotion. "I know," he said. "We have to help rebuild it. We have to make it better than it was before."

Lily's eyes filled with tears as she looked around at the destruction that surrounded them. "How can we ever make it better?" she asked. "It's all gone. Everything we knew and loved is gone."

Gami took Lily's hand and squeezed it tightly. "We'll find a way," he said, his voice filled with conviction. "We'll rebuild it, brick by brick if we have to. We'll make it better than it ever was before."

Lily looked up at Gami, her eyes shining with tears. "I believe you," she said. "I believe in us. But right now, all I can think about is how much I love you and how grateful I am that you're safe."

Gami pulled Lily into his arms and held her tightly. "I love you too," he said, his voice breaking with emotion. "I'll always love you, no matter what."

He laid in bed sleeping next to Lily, unable to fall asleep. His mind kept wondering.

Feeling a sense of unease wash over him. He knew that he had been given great power by the archangel, but he couldn't help but wonder what price he would have to pay for it.

As he thought back to when the archangel appeared to him, Gami remembered the sense of awe and wonder that had filled him. But now, as he faced the unknown future, he couldn't help but feel a sense of dread.

What lay ahead for him? What dangers would he have to face? And would he be strong enough to overcome them?

With a deep breath, Gami summoned all of his courage and determination. He knew that he could not let his fears consume him, and that he would have to face whatever lay ahead with bravery and resolve.

He couldn't help but wonder if he was truly ready for what the future held.
