Chapter 1: Gladiators in the arena
The gladiators entered the arena, swords and shields at the ready. The crowd roared as they prepared to witness a fight to the death.
The two gladiators, Marcus and Lucius, were both skilled fighters. They had trained for years to gain the strength and agility they needed to survive in the arena.
The fight began, and the two gladiators clashed. Marcus made the first strike, swinging his sword at Lucius with all his might. But Lucius was quick, and he dodged the attack with ease.
Lucius struck back, swinging his own sword at Marcus. The two blades clashed, sending sparks flying into the air. The fight was intense, with neither gladiator willing to back down.
Marcus landed a blow on Lucius, slicing his arm with his sword. Lucius stumbled back, clutching his wounded arm. But he did not give up. He continued to fight, determined to win.
Lucius managed to gain the upper hand, landing several powerful blows on Marcus. The crowd cheered as Lucius seemed to be winning the fight.
But Marcus was not ready to give up. He landed a final, devastating blow on Lucius, sending him to the ground. The crowd fell silent as Marcus stood over his fallen opponent.
Marcus had a choice to make. He could kill Lucius, as was required in the rules of the arena. Or he could spare him, showing mercy and compassion.
Marcus made his decision. He realized that he did not want to kill Lucius, even if it meant breaking the rules of the arena. He helped his opponent to his feet, and the two men stood together, battered and bruised but alive.
The crowd was stunned by Marcus's decision. They had expected him to kill Lucius, as was customary in the end of every match. The two men left the arena together, and the audience cheered at the good match
Fortunately the audience raised their thumbs to signify keeping them both alive due to both of them having a good match. They both goth to see another day, tho it might not be the same tomorrow. The End
