"Mr. Dave, why did you say getting our Alpha an arranged wife is a bad idea?" The elder asked, getting impatient.

"Just you know, they don't feel the bond, your pain, or struggles. All they are concerned about is being a good wife and Luna, they never try to understand you." Dave said, explaining what he meant. If Sarah had been able to feel Damien's pain, she wouldn't have tried to kill Aurora, knowing how well he cherished her.

One's mate should always consider one's feelings, that is the norm.

"We have cases where mates betray each other. Not everyone with a mate is happy, like you said, it's all about being a good wife and Luna. Why not? If she is troublesome and temperamental, why does it matter if she is a mate? But if she is understanding and responsible, wouldn't it benefit Alpha?" The old man said, conquering Dave's words.
