"No, she isn't. Aurora doesn't usually hide or cause others to worry. It's been days, and I am starting to suspect that something's amiss," Scarlet said with a tone that suggested she might know more than she was letting on.

"What do you know?" Theresa asked, retaking her seat, her eyes fixed on Scarlet's, as if urging her to reveal the truth.

"I overheard the maids talking about catching a thief in the mansion. Their description made me think of Aurora. Theresa, who was the thief they caught?" Scarlet inquired, her expression serious, putting Theresa on the spot.
