Settling in comfortably, the duo engaged in a lively conversation, chatting and smiling together.

Watching them, Aurora couldn't help but miss Scarlet and wonder how she was doing. Lost in thought, she sighed without realizing she was in the company of others.

"I'm sorry if we annoyed you. It's been a while since we met, so I got overexcited," Sarah played the victim, wearing an apologetic look that made Aurora feel uneasy.

"That was not my intention," Aurora said, trying to argue her way out, but it seemed like what mattered was the fact that Sarah got to be the victim. She only signed a harmless contract, why did she have to face all of these?
