Chapter 42: Presence of the future Luna

"I want some alone time," she objected, pouting her lips to highlight her discomfort.

"It's not a choice, it's necessary," he replied with the same authority that she despised. He always took advantage of his position as the Alpha, and she wanted nothing more than to smack him across the face.

"Fine, I will sleep on the couch then. The bed is all yours," she declared, walking towards the bed and grabbing a blanket. If he insisted on having his way, she would do the same.

She slept on the couch, completely covering herself with the blanket to annoy him and hopefully make him leave the room.

She smiled when there was complete silence for a moment, thinking she had successfully gotten rid of the stubborn Alpha. However, her joy was short-lived when she was suddenly lifted up by strong arms.
