Chapter 132: Chapter 132

The temperature in the vicinity surged rapidly at an alarming rate, rendering the air sweltering.

The very earth beneath their feet took on a fiery hue, as if the scorching waves of air had wrung every last drop of moisture from the surroundings.

As far as the eye could reach, white mist began to rise from the scorched ground.

"Kaido, Linlin, it's over!" Carnes declared, his voice cutting through the searing atmosphere.

In an instant, Carnes hurled the miniature sun he held aloft towards Kaido and Big Mom.

"Carnes!!!" Big Mom and Kaido roared almost in unison, their voices echoing with desperation.

Without hesitation, Big Mom and Kaido initiated a combined attack once more.

A tremendous shockwave rippled outwards, a deafening sound accompanying its release.

"Boom!" Boom!"

When the shockwave collided with the sun, a fierce battle of energy ensued, followed by a rush of air.

The shockwave that appeared to swallow the sun's advance was promptly devoured.

"Kaido....you won't run this time, leaving me alone, would you?!" Big Mom questioned, her resolve unbroken.

"No, I won't run and hide somewhere, Linlin."

"Now, for me it's a fight to the death!"

"Today either Carnes will be dead, or both of our lives will end."

Big Mom's eyes dimmed slightly as she continued to pour her strength into the fight.

"Attack!!!"

"Charge!!!"

Summoning the last vestiges of their strength, Big Mom and Kaido, the two relentless adversaries with all their might, unleashed an enormous shockwave that expanded dramatically in size.

But even in their final, desperate struggle, they couldn't halt the inexorable advance of the miniature sun.

Their valiant effort proved futile infront of sun unleashed by Carnes.

"Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!"

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!"

"I never expected it to come to this," Big Mom muttered, gazing at the oncoming sun. She had abandoned all resistance.

"Even, after fighting for decades, in the end, neither you nor I could claim the title of Pirate King."

In that moment, Kaido too gave up the struggle. He knew the battle was lost, the outcome of this fight had already been decided.

"Carnes, you've won!"

These were the last words Carnes heard as the sun set.

With the setting sun, the entire Sabaody Archipelago shook violently, as if the very earth beneath it had been awakened from a deep slumber.

An overwhelmingly bright light suddenly pierced the sky, illuminating it completely.

And then, came the earth-shattering explosion.

"Boom..."

A resounding blast echoed across the entire area.

The sheer power of the ensuing storm unleashed chaos, destroying everything in its path across Sabaody Archipelago.

A colossal mushroom cloud soared majestically into the sky, a testament to the devastation wrought by this cataclysmic event.

"Boom..."

"Boom..."

Deafening echoes reverberated as billowing smoke and dust shrouded the once-vibrant Sabaody Archipelago, creating an ominous atmosphere.

And then, as time passed, an eerie silence settled over the once lively Sabaody Archipelago, like a mourning veil.

*Crash!*

*Clatter...*

The sea began its relentless advance, slowly reclaiming the land, swallowing it piece by piece.

"Dah!"

Carnes took a step forward, the water's depth already reaching his feet.

"Let's go, it's time to head back," Carnes declared, addressing Ulquiorra, who still hovered in mid-air.

"Um," Ulquiorra responded, descending to the ground besides Carnes.

Not too far away, King, standing atop a drifting piece of debris, stared off into the distance, his expression blank.

His gaze lingered on the now calm sea.

He knew that he could no longer sense Kaido's imposing aura, which only meant one thing.

"Governor Kaido…" King whispered.

A sharp sound cut through the stillness as King fell to his knees, his head bowed.

In that very moment, both Kaido and Big Mom, the two Emperors of sea, were declared dead.

They had met their end at the hand of Carnes.

With their leaders gone, the once-mighty Beasts Pirates and Big Mom Pirates were now to be disbanded, a fate sealed.

It was just the matter of time.

Meanwhile, Escanor's group made swift progress.

Charlotte Oven and his other comrades lay motionless on the ground, their blood painted the ground beneath them in crimson color.

Everyone of them fell victim to wrath of Carnes' crew.

The very ground beneath them had cracked and shattered, mirroring the chaos that had unfolded.

Though the sea waters had begun to creep upwards, it had yet to envelop them, its advance was steady, if not swift.

"Shall we deal with these two individuals together?"
