Chapter 23: Chapter 22 - Spark of The Storm (5)
Just as the situation has turn to utter despair, Polpo almost eaten alive by the mud while Noir starts to lose his vision. A shadow appear from the sky, the figure seems to have some sort of shining rod on their right arm. The shadow figure land on the tip of a tree, as the shadow figure point the shiny rod on Madnel.
"Who the hell are you!"
"... I am... Here to collect your live" The shadow figure said, as they exude their aura and concentrated it to Madnel.
Madnel got surprise for a moment but he grin. As a couple of magic circle appear above Madnel. As a spear form out of the magic circle
[Tier 2 Mud Magic : Molded Mud]
The mud spear start to launch toward the shadow figure, but the shadow figure instantly disappear from the tree. As the shadow figure appear below the tree now, as they walk forward slowly revealing themself. The moonlight start to shine on the figure face, as it is someone Polpo and Noir know quite well, Sheila Rakshana.
"You always put yourself into trouble... Just like your father" Sheila said calmly as she sigh off.
"Who the hell... Are you... You seems strong, Heheh!"
"Me... Hmmm.. Well you're gonna die anyway so mind aswell, My name is Sheila Rakshana!" Sheila said proudly.
"Hooo~ The Rakshana family I see... Well my name is Madnel Bellarus! And we will see whether you or me... Will be in hell today... WAHAHAH!"
A bunch of magic circle appear on the sky followed by a laughter from a mad man. As Sheila also answer with her own green magic circle all over the place.
[Tier 1 Mud Magic : Mud Bullet]
[Tier 2 Wind Magic : Jet Air]
A bunch of mud ball launch from the magic circle as a pressure of air concentrated like a bullet came out from the green magic circle. Both spell crash against one another, as both side keep creating more and more magic circle. A green magic circle appear on the ground just below Sheila.
[Tier 2 Wind Magic : Elven Step]
In a flash, Sheila rescue Polpo and Noir. Both Polpo and Noir is now carried by Sheila.
"Hah! Amazing speed ya got there. It's like you are wind itself. WAHAHAH!"
"..." As Sheila drop both Noir and Polpo far away.
Sheila swing her sword and point it to Madnel, with an intense stare. Sheila use her muscle and prepare a thrust. As a green magic circle appear just in front of her rapier.
[Tier 2 Wind Magic : Jet Air]
She thrust her rapier, as a burst of air launch from the magic circle. But it seems the air is much more concentrated and as it keeps spinning in a great speed. Madnel use his mud ball but the mud ball instantly destroyed and he instinctively create a mud wall.
[Tier 2 Mud Magic : Molded Mud]
A mud wall appear right in front of Madnel as the air tries to pierce the mud wall but failed. Sheila just keep on thrusting again and again as Madnel tries to block it again and again endlessly. A view seconds pass by as the mud swamp slowly crept up to Sheila feet.
The mud starts to touch Sheila feet without her noticing it. Sheila face surprise for a moment, but she instantly dash back with her elven step. Sheila concentrate her ether and rapier, as she prepare a spell. A big green magic circle appear right in front of her.
[Tier 3 Wind Magic : Gale Crash]
A concentrated wind appear after Sheila thrust, but it seems this one is much more concentrated and spin much faster than before. Madnel tries his best to block it with his mud shield but to his surprise, the wind pierce through his defense and hit him on his left shoulder completely leaving a hole on it.
"AAAAGGGHHHHH!!!" Madnel scream, as he grab his left shoulder in pain.
"YOU BASTARD!!!"
Madnel start to control his swamp of mud and molded it into some sort of giant monstrous creature with mouth in it's stomach. 4 arms start to form in it's right and left body part, as the monster scream out bloodcurdling.
"YOU BASTARD!!! I WILL KILL YOU! I WILL KILL YOU ALL!!"
"GLUTTONY! ATTACK THAT B***H!" Madnel command loudly to the monstrous mud being.
Sheila with her elven step start to jump from one place to another trying to dodge the monster attack. The monster keep on chasing Sheila as the beast just crash from tree to another tree.
"This monster... It is dangerous! I need to kill it now" Sheila said calmly inside her mind, as she jump to the sky.
As a magic circle appear on her rapier, and she stab multiple time creating a pressured air toward the mud beast. But it seems to deal no damage to the creature at all. As she keep on dodging the beast attack with her elven step spell. As a bigger magic circle appear in front of her rapier.
[Tier 3 Wind Magic : Gale Crash]
Sheila stab the magic circle as it create a concentrated pressured air. It manage to deal a significant damage, but the beast could heal over and over. It's as if the beast had unlimited mud to keep on regenerate. Sheila tried couple more times but still fail to kill it completely.
"Tch.. I never would've thought to use this spell here.." Sheila said as she close her eyes.
A humongus green magic circle appear on the sky as it glows like the moon. Madnel, Polpo and Noir is in shock at what they are about to witness. Madnel starts to sweat all over his face looking at the magic circle trying to count how many rune circle it has.
"It... It c-can't be... 1.. 2... 3... 4!!! IT'S A DISASTER MAGIC. I THOUGHT ONLY THE GUILD MASTER OF PHOENIX GUILD CAN USE DISASTER LEVEL MAGIC. YOU DAMN BASTARD ROOWAAAANNN!!!"
As Sheila concentrate her whole ether in one swing. Sheila slowly swing her sword as the mud monster below her tried to reach for her but it was too late. Even Madnel start to ran away from the scene but once again, it was too late.
[Tier 4 Wind Magic : Gladea Elegance]
Sheila swing her sword downward, as an intense wind pressure start to blast off from the middle of her swing. As the mud monster cut down vertically and immediately destroyed, while Madnel trying to ran away also get slash vertically on his face up to his lower body part.
As blood start to gushing out from Madnel all over his body, he fell to the ground. Noir who almost lost his consciousness is looking at his past instructor, Sheila Rakshana. Showing a prowess he would never thought he could ever seen. Noir just smile as he lose his consciousness after witnessing Sheila tier 4 magic.
Sheila slowly approach Madnel who is bleeding all over from the vertical cut. It seems Madnel is barely alive, as he cough up blood looking at Sheila.
"So.... This is the power of... A tier 4 magic..... *cough up blood* Truly... Remarkable..." Madnel said his hardest as he stare at Sheila.
"You... Please.... At least... Kill.. My.... Family...." Madnel said as his voice start to slowly disappear and his vision blacked out.
Sheila just sigh off looking at Madnel, as she carry him on her back. Sheila went over to Polpo and Noir and gesture Polpo to carry Noir.
"Oi! Bear kid! Carry Noir for me will you?"
"Ah.. Uh... YES!" Polpo said as he starts to carry Noir on his back.
"This is not over yet... I could feel another evil ether on the west... We have to put Noir in Black Bear Inn first.." Sheila said as she use her elven step spell to jump from the tip of tree to another tree.
While Polpo run quickly with his bear strength carrying Noir on his back. Back on the east, Solean still sit tightly on the ground. But it seems he is waiting for something. Just below Kortopia, a dark long cave start to illuminate with light. As a fast creature start to fly through the small cave. It seems Solean familiar, The Phoenix fly through the cave all alone trying to reach somewhere.
The Phoenix keep on flying as it finally reach an opening with bright light in the middle of it. On the side of the cave, there is gems and ore everywhere lighting the place, but in the middle of it is a glowing egg like the sun. The familiar seems to resonate with the egg as the body of the Phoenix get sucked in the egg. As a crack can be seen from it now.
"Finally... The real Phoenix... Is here..." Solean said as he smiles, he stand up and open his eyes from meditation.
Solean glance at the loud noise coming from Kortopia, as it seems people are scattering around in fear of the attack.
"Soon... Everything will comeback to normal..."
