Chapter 112: Predator turned Prey

The last thing the quivering guard could see was the eerie black eye that belonged to the omen he was toying with just a few minutes prior. Then, he couldn't even see that, as the cage completely morphed to enclose around Marcus with the sharp spikes facing inwards to impale the creature within.

For a brief moment, the guard felt relief, as he heard the thumping sound of the now boulder-sized-circular cage enclose itself.

Unfortunately for him though, he only needed to look towards his fellow colleague's struggling face to see that things were not quite over just yet...

BOOM!

Earthen rubble shot out in every direction as a somewhat large dust cloud took shape where the sturdy looking earth cage had been previously.
