"Nothing you aren't already aware of Patriarch. The only peculiarity I noticed was that the news doesn't spread much farther outside of the slums," a feminine voice replied to Aramin.
When Aramin heard this, he stifled a laugh, which caused his subordinate, Thirteen, to look up at him questioningly.
Instead of replying to Thirteen's clear confusion, Aramin only held out a hand for the person to sit down, which Thirteen quickly obliged to.
"What are your thoughts?"
It was a simple question that Aramin posed. Anyone who heard it would almost automatically make the presumption that the question was related to the current events Thirteen and Aramin were now discussing.
Yet when Thirteen replied, it seemed as though she took the question quite literally.
"I'm angry and extremely annoyed right now," the woman spoke in a voice that no longer sounded feminine but demonic in nature.
