Chapter 62: Face to face

"If you choose not to get involved with the inheritance, that's up to you. But…" Arnold paused, his eyes looking down at the bracelet in his hand. 

Reluctantly, he accepted the sapphire necklace. 

"Well, since some already know this secret, I don't mind adding you to that list."

Arnold smiled at Lawrence before taking out a journal book from the compartment of his car. Lawrence curiously looked at the old brown cover stacked with old paper inside. 

It was tied with a black thin ribbon. The small and curious white dumpling climbs onto Lawrence's thighs and rests his small meat paw pad on the book cover.

"Meow meow meow!" Little Snow's coquettish meows were loud and adorable to the ears. Arnold could not help but get the impression that this little white fluff wanted attention. Or maybe just curious about any foreign object Lawrence will hold in his hand.
