Chapter 44: Infinity and Eternity
Loki stood up and walked out of the top floor of the building. The horned armor slowly covered his body. The explosions below brought him immense satisfaction, a stimulating feeling of destroying his brother's beloved things. It made him happier than when he transformed into a snake to scare Thor. Just then, Hawkeye piloted a Quinjet, joining the battle along with Steve and Natasha.
The numerical difference made the three of them watch helplessly as civilians were killed by Chitauri soldiers. At the same time, organizations such as the X-Men and the Brotherhood mobilized their forces to fight against the Chitauri soldiers.
Magneto, accompanied by Wanda and Pietro, flew in the air. The energy weapons of the Chitauri soldiers couldn't penetrate his magnetic field. Pietro watched as Erik effortlessly crushed hundreds of Chitauri soldiers, admiration evident in his eyes.

As Magneto became more excited by the killing, several beams of light attacked him. Erik's brows furrowed as he manipulated the magnetic field, distorting the space around him, deflecting the beams. Two minutes later, Magneto flew out of the space gate with his children.
The enemy's dishonorable long-range attacks made it hard for him to lift his head. Looking at the God of Slaughter leaving, the Chitauri commander breathed a sigh of relief. The images sent back by the ground forces made him hesitate whether to continue the attack.
Loki, who was admiring his masterpiece on the rooftop, gradually wore an unpleasant expression as he looked at the empty space gate. Thor, holding Mjolnir, landed beside Loki, and after a brief argument, Loki used his dagger to wound Thor, taking the opportunity to jump onto a Chitauri aircraft, planning to escape the city. Without the Chitauri army, staying alone here would be like courting death.
Just as this thought arose, several space portals spewed out a dozen giant monsters and a large number of Chitauri soldiers. Loki immediately regained his composure. Thor hesitated for a second before choosing to support Steve and the others.
Yihu slowly approached the area where the two were fighting, picking up the Mind Stone from where Loki dropped it. He looked up at the space gate, then walked to the nearby emitter, swung the Mind Stone through the energy field, and knocked the Tesseract away.
The moment the Tesseract left the energy field, Yihu used his psychic powers to retrieve it, putting it in his backpack. He jumped down from the building, preparing to head to Stark Tower. Just as Natasha was about to leave for Stark Tower, she stopped in her tracks, turned around, and rushed towards the nearby Chitauri soldiers.
"No!"
Loki screamed as he was grabbed by Hulk and slammed into Stark Tower.
"That's enough! You lowly beast! I am the prince of Asgard! A god!"
Loki roared at Hulk, his lips curling slightly as he looked at the massive figure he had subdued. Before he could declare his victory, Hulk grabbed his foot and mercilessly smashed him around.
"Tsk, such a weak god!"
Hulk disdainfully spat on the ground. Loki crossed his arms over his chest, his gaze blankly staring at the ceiling, feeling a sense of darkness in his life. Yihu descended in the alley, took out the Tesseract, and crushed the energy outside into substance. Inside, he revealed the compact Space Stone.
Then he shifted his gaze to the power extraction card in his backpack and silently activated it with a mental command. A card emerged above the stone, gradually turning into ashes. The Space Stone began to melt, eventually completely permeating Yihu's hand.
The immense energy circulated throughout his body, forming bulges on his skin. After five minutes, the energy gradually subsided. Yihu clenched his hand and felt an infinite amount of power flowing within him. He also became extremely sensitive to the surrounding space.
With a thought, a faint blue spatial portal appeared in front of him. Looking at the familiar house on the other side, a slight smile appeared on Yihu's lips. With a step, he crossed the spatial portal and appeared on the lawn in front of the residence.
Before Yihu could feel happy, the surrounding space began to distort. A bald man in orange robes slowly walked towards him. Without waiting for the man to speak, Yihu asked aloud, "What brings Master Ancient One to find me?"
"I haven't seen your presence in the river of time!" The Ancient One's tone was as calm as asking what to eat tonight, but it caused a tidal wave of emotions in Yihu's heart. Although absorbing the Space Stone greatly enhanced his power, Yihu hadn't become inflated to the extent of challenging the Ancient One alone.
The Ancient One possessed formidable power, and the Eye of Agamotto hanging on his chest could manipulate time. After a moment of contemplation, Yihu whispered, "Master, you have a keen eye. I must confess, I come from an alternate universe of Earth and was brought here Infinity ."
A faint gleam flashed in the Ancient One's eyes. She had made a covenant with Eternity to accompany him in traversing the universe after death. Infinity was a figure on par with Eternity. The Ancient One regarded Yihu as a disciple of Infinity. After a brief conversation, she released the mirrored space and let him leave.
