Eric and Tan Ailing slowly walked to the edge of the artificial lake at the foot of the mountain. Standing on the shore, they looked out over the clear water, reflecting the blue sky and white clouds.
They found a bench by the lake and sat down.
Eric spoke gently, "Ailing, we've explored the villa these past few days. What do you think? If there's anything unsatisfactory, we can make arrangements to improve it..."
"No need, it's fine here!" Tan Ailing hugged Eric's arm, leaned on his shoulder, and whispered, "As long as you're by my side, I have no other desires..."
These rare words of affection from Tan Ailing warmed Eric's heart. He couldn't help but gently embrace her and whisper sweet nothings.
After cuddling for a while, Tan Ailing suddenly laughed inexplicably.
Eric raised an eyebrow, asking, "What's so funny?"
