Yamato was covered in sweat. He had to occasionally dodge Scáthach's spears. However soon enough he has completed his training in less than an hour. He stared at his two companions and saw them training diligently.
He stretched his body, however from the corner of his eyes he once again saw a red spear speeding through him. He punched it with his right hand and it twirled mid air.
He then adopted a boxing stance. The one Baki taught him as he jabbed at the spear trying to stab him multiple times. The spear increased in speed until the only thing he could do was dodge.
Scáthach stared at him as she handled both Kazuko and Lancer. "Come. Naoe Yamato. Show me what you're made of."

Without extra flare Yamato channeled prana below his legs and reappeared beside Scáthach. He then tried to kick her in the face only to be blocked by a spear. This however did not deter Yamato.
As soon as he landed on the ground, he gathered prana into a crentral point and spun rapidly.

A whirlwind gathered on Yamato's legs as he kicked thrice towards her. Scáthach could feel the air thinning around her making her smile. She easily blocked all three of his strikes as she grabbed him by the leg and slammed him on the ground.
"It seems you're not all talk after all." She said as she attempted to stomp on his face while blocking both Kazuko and Lancer's strikes.
"Boy! Hand-to-Hand won't work on her! If you got a weapon, better use it now!" Lancer said as he faced Scáthach's strikes head on.
Miyako and Chiron on the other hand was observing the fight, "They sure are going wild over there." He chuckled as he taught Miyako his running form. Miyako followed his instructions carefully.
She was surprised on how easy his lessons were. She quickly learned and increased the mastery of his style. She could also feel her understanding of the Shiina-ryu archery deepen with every subsequent lesson he taught her.
Yamato on the other hand drew his blade.
<<Genkai Toppa - Museigen!>>
A sword with a transparent blade appeared in his hands. He closed his eyes and focused.
<<Banshō Issai Kaijin To Nase(Reduce All Creation to Ash) - Ryūjin Jakka(Flowing Blade-like Flame)
The transparent blade transformed into a normal katana that was enveloped in violent flames.
Scáthach widened her eyes and whistled at his weapon. "Not bad. I'm starting to like you kid." She said as she put her hands on her hips.
Yamato used shunpo to appear behind her. He lowered his stance and muttered.
<<Taimatsu>>
A wisp of flame that slowly grew bigger enveloped Scáthach. The flames created a pillar of inferno. However when Yamato thought he has managed to wound her, the pillar was cut in half. The flames dissipated as they were blown away.
Not even a single damage was inflicted on her as she stood tall while holding her twin spears. She then charged towards Yamato. They exchanged blades, with Yamato going on the defensive.
Sparks and flames spewed out from their clash burning the grassy plains. They were slowly surrounded by smoke and embers as they exchanged blades.
"Not bad, You have the theory down. All you need is more practice." Scáthach said as she grinned while pressuring Yamato.
However from the corner of her eyes she saw two spears pass through her face. She stopped in her tracks to avoid it. The two thrown spears was then caught by both of her disciples. They threw it once more exchanging spears in extreme speeds.
This gave Yamato the leeway to gain some distance from her. He once again used shunpo to appear on top of her. He hovered mid-air as he slashed downwards with a grin.
<<Hinokami Kagura - Shayō Tenshin(Setting Sun Transformation)>>
Yamato backflipped into the air before performing a singular horizontal slash. Scáthach bent backwards and kicked him in the stomach. He was sent flying away as Kazuko and Lancer took this chance to assault her on both sides.
She grinned as she spun around and performed a 360 slash sending them all flying on different directions.
"Close, but not quite there yet." She said as she put her hand on her hips.
She then stared at Yamato who was preparing to attack once more but she disappeared from her spot and kicked away his katana. It flipped midair and the flames surrounding it dissipated.
"What now boy?" She said as she grinned at him.
Yamato on the other hand wasn't deterred. He grinned and muttered.
<<Kaisen Dankairaku>>
He lowered his stance and preformed multiple kicks on her direction. She nimbly dodged his strikes and once again grabbed him by the leg and threw him away. Towards the opposite direction of his blade.
Yamato rolled on the ground and silently drew out Ace of Spades.
"That all you got bo--"
*BANG!* *BANG!*
Two loud gunshots echoed. The bullets whizzed directly towards her making her grin as she cut the two bullets in half with her spears.
Yamato took this chance to shunpo towards his blade. He then dashed forwards and leapt up in the air. Scáthach lowered her stance expecting another flame based attack however Yamato's blade slowly morphed.
<<Arachnid>>
Chains spew forth from the handle of his blade and bound Scáthach.
"Now!" Yamato said as he looked at Lancer and Kazuko. The two dashed forwards and aimed their spear towards Scáthach. She grabbed the chains and spun, attempting to slam Yamato towards the two however the chains she grabbed disappeared.
She widened her eyes and looked at Yamato. The latter was sporting a smug grin. She clicked her tongue and blocked the two.
From above Yamato backflipped in the air and his blade once more covered in flames. He then shouted as he came slashing downwards.
<<Hitotsume: Nadegiri(The First: Killing Stroke)>>
It was a precision cut of extreme force and speed. Scáthach pushed away the two as she dodged the strike albiet barely. Yamato's sword made contact with the ground as it split in half leaving a deep crevasse as a large burst of flame erupted from below.
Scáthach watched the few strands of her hair dance freely in the air as it was cut by Yamato. She grinned as she stabbed Yamato straight in the heart using her extreme speed.
[Naoe Yamato has Died.]
Scáthach coudn't help but laugh, "HAHAHAHAHA! Impressive. To push me this far. You make me want to take you all seriously." She said as prana erupted from her body.
"Oi! Oi! Oi! She's finally getting serious. Damn it all. What a cruel bitc--" Lancer muttered.
[Lancer has Died.]
He didn't even get to finish his words as he was skewered.
"Alright you lot! The real training starts now!" She bellowed as the three stood in attention.
For the next 9 hours they were beaten black and blue. At some point in time Miyako joined in fighting Scáthach. While Chiron coached them while watching in the background.
It was safe to say they didn't even manage to scratch her. She was like an immovable fortress filled with bramble and sharp spears. They understood why she reigned over the Land of Shadows.
The Witch of Dun Scaith was a terrifying opponent indeed.
