Chapter 4: Chapter 04

We returned in the summer of 1821, but we didn't go to St. Petersburg. My mother said that the palace held bad memories for her, so my father decided we would move to the Kremlin, from now on, we would live there. It was perfect for me because I could finally set my plan in motion to have loyal employees cultivated from orphaned children, trained to become my future spies and assassins, after all, when my father was crowned, he would stay in the capital while I could become the tyrant of Moscow, this would help set my plans for industrialization in motion.

At the end of the year 1822, another little sister was born, the youngest one named Olga, my parents were deeply in love, if you catch my drift. I was already five years old, and all I did was save up all the pocket money I received, my mother found it amusing and called me "little dragon" Maria, my other little sister, became even more mischievous and my father blamed me, saying I was a bad influence, my initial plan took longer, but I started to see some positive results. The ones who stood out the most, whether in their learning or in combat, were a Cossack boy I named Jardani Jovonovich – he was quite silent and seemed a bit emo – and a future beauty, a Sami girl I named Natasha Belova.

I decided to train my body alongside them, taking advantage of my good genetics thanks to my father, who stood over two meters tall, my parents didn't understand my proposal at first, but eventually, they didn't pay much attention, thinking I would give up halfway, but when I didn't quit, they were happy to see that I was a responsible boy and even helped me hire a combat instructor and another tutor.

The instructor was a veteran Cossack, a tough nut who didn't go easy on me, even though I was his prince, but I could see in his eyes that he was impressed, after all, these barbarians only respect strength.

I was more of a warrior than my counterpart, who was a lover of peace, perhaps that's why he was assassinated, at that time, the Russians didn't respect a czar who wasn't warlike, It was also due to the various reforms he implemented, which angered many people, when you're making reforms, you either change your focus or fill the pockets of the affected groups to ease radicalization.

Finding the necessary orphans was relatively easy, after all, society doesn't usually give much importance to orphans. Convincing my parents, however, was a bit more difficult, after much insistence, they gave in, as they only needed to provide food for them, and the palace had more than enough, my father even became known as a benevolent leader in Moscow, greatly improving his image with the subjects of the empire.
