(Chapter 23) Beast's and Tremors
{Shima no Ryuu: south port}
Kaido yawned as he walked into a clearing, he heard loud noises coming from this side of the island so he went to check it out
He soon spotted a group of samurai fighting a bunch of people that wore strange clothing and had swords similar to the one Ryu owned
He sighed before turning his back and deciding to head back to sleep, "I know fighting a bunch of people would be great right now but that sake I smuggled out of Ryu's birthday is giving me a darn headache"
'Oi who the fuck are you?!" came the shouts of a large man that had a similar build to the ogre
He looked back as he clenched his kanabo, 'Could you shut the fuck up!' he shouted back as he held his forehead "I knew this wasn't worth the trouble" he thought
'The fuck did you say?! Do you even know who I am?!' came the enraged voice of the man as he pulled out a wanted poster
'I'm Qeuri Tai Wanted for over 150 Million belli!' came his reply as he posted about his bounty
'Do I give a shit?! I'm leaving' said Kaido as he started walking back into the forest, only to be held in place and thrown across the field pummeling right throw a wave of samurai fighting the pirates
Kaido seethed in rage as he got up clenching his kanabo in one hand and threw a samurai that landed on top of him with the other
'You piece of shit ill kill you for that!' he screamed out as he rushed towards the hulking man
Qeuri drew two sickles as he ran towards Kaido, their weapons met as sparks flew from their clash
The man soon grins as he sends Kaido away using his right sickle before sending a large air slash using his left one
The attack lands only for him to widen his eyes as he sees a minor scratch where the attack landed on Kaido's chest
Kaido grunts before dashing back towards his opponent, he's soon hit with a barrage of air slashes as he blocks them with his kanabo
He grits his teeth before smashing the ground under him making his Qeuri including everyone in the area to lose their ground
He soon rushes towards the man and delivers a skull-crushing attack right to the side of his face sending him flying towards the tree line
'ORORORO! Never challenge the king of the beasts to a battle!' Qeuri grunted as he felt that his jaw was dislocated
He popped it back into place before grinning 'You aren't too bad kid show me what you got!' he soon starts transforming as he becomes two times larger than he was before
Kaido looks towards the giant elephant human as he rushed towards the beast, Kaido grins before raising his kanabo once more now fully rid of his hangover "This is going to be fun!"

Newgate sighed as he killed another one of those samurai, blood ran down his mouth as he pulled out the blade of the orange-haired brat that was now dead
He threw the blade to the ground before facing the his last two assailants, the old man was was being held back by the black haired brat
'Kyoku-sama we need to retreat!' came the voice Akira as he held his leader by his shoulder
Tears ran down Kyoku's eyes watching his son getting killed while being helpless to do anything
He got out of Akira's grip as he ran forwards at top speed towards Newgate, The man had a frown on his face seeming like he didn't like doing this, It just made him even more angered
He jumps into the air and backflips as he calls out his technique 'Ninth form: Idatrn Typhoon!'
His attack lands at cuts the large blonde man as his shirt gets ripped and blood trails down his chest, Newgate grits his teeth before catching the man's leg midair pummeling him into the ground before sending a fist surrounded by a white halo right towards the old bastard
He soon senses a slash coming right for his head as he tilts it making the crescent fly past him
He grunts before throwing the unconscious old man towards Akira, 'Get out of here, I've done enough killing for one day'
Akira's gains bulge hearing the words of the monster in front of him he lays his leader down before rushing towards him intending to finish this once and for all
'Fourteenth form: Catastrophe Tenman crescent moon!'
Soon a whirlpool of slashes comes the Newgate's way as he infuses even more haki into his fist sending a haki-infused tremor its way
The whirlpool disperses only for him to widen his eye not seeing the man in front of him
He looks back to see his rage-filled face meters away from him ready to deliver a finishing move
'Sixteenth form: Moonbow Half moon!' as he sent a barrage of crescent slashes right towards him
Newgate turns around as he uses his haki to cover his entire frame and hopefully not injure him too badly
*Booom!*
A dust cloud forms as the ground shook due to the power of the attack, Akira tries catching his breath as he could feel how much of a toll those two attacks cost him
He looked up towards the dust cloud as it slowly dispersed only for his heart to miss a beat
Newgate was covered in cuts as his haki wasn't able to protect him fully from the barrage of attacks
He picks up his naginata and made his way towards Akira, 'Forgive me child' he said before plunging the weapons into the man's heart
Akira's eyes widened before they slowly became dull, he coughed out a mouthful as he faced the ground
Newgates visage became solemn as he made his way to the old man before plunging his navigate once more into the man's heart
He turned his head to see the pirates celebrating, he sneered looking at the disgusting scene as he heard cries coming from a destroyed building not too far from the center
He made his way there as the cries became even louder, He used his haki-covered hand to lift up a large section of the wall as he spotted the origin of the crying
It was a child, but what made im frown even deeper was the woman holding it, The blonde was impaled right through the stomach as the toddler whale in her arms
Her eyes were slowly dimming as she tried to comfort the child, Newgate came forth and kneeled down to her
'Wh-who are you?! Please help Marco help my baby please' came her desperate voice as tears went down her face, Newgates eyes softened as he picked the child from her arms
The woman smiled before going limp her soul finally resting, Newgate sighed before standing up carrying the child
'Oi boss who's kid is this?' came a voice of a Pirate as he looked towards the blonde, Newgate just went right passed him as he headed towards the ship
'Loot everything that is here including the swords of the dead, I want everything on the main ship' his orders were clear as he walked down the destroyed city
