As Min-Joon and the rest of his group moved through the crowd, he snickered seeing as they're close to their goal.

"Hehe, you still second guessing forming a party with me, Ji-Hoon?" Min-joon looked back, expecting to see Ji-Hoon behind them. But he wasn't there.

"Where's Ji-Hoon?" Min-joon scanned the crowd, but he couldn't sight Ji-Hoon.

It was at this time that a voice echoed from behind...

"Ji-Hoon!" It was loud enough to cut through the noise and confusion. Min-Joon recognized it immediately; it was Seo-Yeon.

"Those two are always together." Min-Joon clicked his tongue in irritation.

"Just what exactly is that rascal up to?" he muttered under his breath.

This wasn't like Ji-Hoon at all. In the original timeline, Ji-Hoon was never the type to be easily injured or sick, always steady and reliable. Yet now he was nowhere to be seen. Was he pulling some kind of act? Trying to throw everyone off guard?

Still, it wasn't his problem. He and Ji-Hoon weren't friends, if anything, he hates Ji-Hoon's guts. Min-Joon wasn't the type to let someone else's issues slow him down.

"Should we go back for them? Seo-Yeon sounded like she they were in trouble." One of the party members asked.

"No." Min-Joon responded firmly.

They had their own priorities, and whatever Ji-Hoon was dealing with, Min-Joon knew it wasn't his concern.

He wasn't someone who cared about others' well-being, especially during a crisis like this. His mindset was always about self-preservation, and anyone who couldn't keep up was just dead weight.

Ji-Hoon might be off doing something unexpected, but Min-Joon wasn't going to let that distract him from his goals.

He had bigger things to worry about than one missing student, especially if that student was Ji-Hoon who was one of his biggest enemies.

Min-Joon knew that he had to focus reaching the serving area.

"Forget about them!" Min-joon shouted to the rest of the group.

"We've got to move!" He waved his hand forward, signaling them to clear a path.

His boys charged forward, they used through the mob of students and faculty. They tackled, punched, and elbowed anyone who got in their way, not caring about the consequences.

"Out of the way!" one of the boys yelled, shoving a student to the ground.

The crowd erupted into chaos as Min-joon's group forcefully pushed through. People stumbled and fell as Min-joon's group didn't hesitate—they kept moving.

"Keep moving!" Min-Joon barked, shoving someone out of his path without so much as a care.

The noise was deafening—screams, shouts, and the sound of breaking glass filled the air.

"Faster. Faster. Faster!"

Ji-Hoon's clothes were practically soaked with sweat, and he was panting heavily.

He had just endured an excruciating transformation, but the pain was finally over. He suddenly opened his eyes, revealing a brilliant yellow hue with crosses embedded in them, a sign that the integration was complete.

Ji-Hoon breathed a sigh of relief, feeling a heightened sense of awareness. His senses were sharp, and his perception was on a whole new level. He could hear every whisper, every scrape of a shoe, every heart beating within earshot.

"Oppa..." Seo-Yeon had a worried look on her face.

"I'm alright." He reassured before going through his stats. "My Muscles felt like they were on fire. Now, my body feels lighter."

As he opened his eyes, he saw faint yellow crosses reflected in them. His vision was sharper than ever.

"I can see the finest of particles." He marveled.

"Your eyes..." Seo-Yeon noticed as well.

This was due to his new passive skill - Enhanced Senses.

He could even hear the faintest rustling in the distance and could feel the slightest vibrations of the ground beneath him. He could identify footsteps despite the tremors of the ground.

The chaos around him continued, but now it was as if everything moved in slow motion.

He could track the people racing by, the debris that fell from the quaking ceiling, and the subtle shifts in the air that indicated danger.

As Ji-Hoon stood up, he felt a shift in his body. Parts of his brown hair turned white, Seo-Yeon also took notice of this, she thought,

'Oppa's giving off a weird vibe. And his hair... How did it change colors like that?'

Ji-Hoon's attention was fixed on the crowd of students in front of him. Some were already motionless on the ground, bleeding from various injuries.

"Seo-Yeon, I need you to wait here for me. Stay out of sight and don't attract attention."

Seo-Yeon gave him a worried look as she nods her head. "Be safe, please."

"I will."

He walked forward and stretched his new enhanced body.

"It's time to test out the new skill," he muttered to himself, looking ahead at the mass of students blocking his path.

Time seemed to slow down around him. The movements of the crowd became sluggish, and he could see every detail with perfect clarity.

Amidst the ongoing chaos, he found a small opening leading directly to the serving area.

"An opening." He smirked, "Blink!" He took a deep breath and mentally activated his new skill.

The world shifted in an instant, as everything flashed before his eyes like a blur of colors. It was like traveling through a different dimension, where time had no hold over him.

He streaked through the crowd, leaving behind a blur. The sheer force from his speed created a shockwave, sending people flying off their feet.

For Ji-Hoon, it was almost an instant, but he had already covered the distance to the other side of the hall.

The sheer force of his passage caused a sonic boom, shattering windows and knocking over anything not bolted down.

The walls trembled, and debris was tossed into the air as if caught in a violent gust of wind.

The students who found themselves unlucky enough to be standing in his path were thrown aside by the shockwave. Some of tumbled to the ground, while others were flung against the walls.
