She was smart, quick, and resourceful, but there were just too many of them.
And with every hit she landed, the zombies regenerated faster, their bodies snapping back into shape as though her efforts were in vain.
Her breaths came in heavy gasps, and her arms ached from the constant swinging.
She wasn't sure how much longer she could keep this up.
More zombies were pouring in from all sides, drawn by the noise of the battle.
It was as though the entire base had become a beacon for the undead.
"System," she panted, "I think it's time… for a tactical retreat."
[Agreed, Host. Shall I prepare to teleport you out?]
Su Jiyai glanced around at the growing horde and sighed.
