Sure enough, as Yuyu had guessed, Seto's arrival was accompanied by an intimidating display of his plane and bodyguards. A large group of black-clads surrounded the area, giving off an aggressive and foreboding aura.
Despite the tense atmosphere, Yuyu couldn't help but think about playing cards. When it came to card addiction, nobody in the world could rival Seto. His obsession with cards was legendary, and he went to great lengths to develop cutting-edge technology, even venturing into the underworld to challenge people in card games.
Nightcrawlers World's team rushed to and warehouse like a rainbow, only to find it empty and under a puppet's control. Most of them felt betrayed and resentment filled their hearts. However, Yuyu remained calm amidst the chaos.
Observing Seto's dramatic entrance, jumping off the plane like Batman, Yuyu couldn't help but admire his audacity. Instead of feeling anger, he even had something to say--
"nice!"
Recently, Yuyu had been contemplating how to find an opportunity to play cards with him. He also wanted to inform him about serious flaws in the card game rules that needed correction. And now, the opportunity presented itself.
With this realization, Yuyu's annoyance towards Marik seemed to fade away. Maybe Marik wasn't such a bothersome person after all.
Because of him, Yuyu now got the opportunity to play with Seto.
Facing Seahorse's provocation, the duelists from Nightcrawler World hesitated. Seto after all held a prestigious position in the dueling circle, and was very powerful.
Rumors circulated among the dueling community that the only person capable of defeating Seahorse was the Duel King, Yugi Mutou. So Sahorse was considered a formidable boss.
However, duelists involved in the underground world weren't easily intimidated by reputation.
"I'll take care of it!" someone immediately volunteered.
"No, I'll handle him. Let him witness the power of my mecha deck!" another person proclaimed confidently.
Of course, Yuyu didn't miss this opportunity. "Let me give it a try."
Nanmu glanced at everyone, snorted, and took a step forward, activating the duel plate in his hand.
"With me here, there's no need for subordinates to go first," he said in a hoarse voice, his scarred face exuding a daunting presence. "I've heard of President Haima's formidable card deck. Coincidentally, I possess a powerful deck that excels at overwhelming opponents with sheer strength. Today, let's see who is truly stronger!"
Seahorse snorted arrogantly, acting as if he didn't care about his opponent.
"Duel!"
...
One minute later.
"Ahhhhh!!!"
The onlookers gasped as they watched their manager fly backward, propelled by the impact of the duel. He crashed into the outer wall of the warehouse, sliding far away like a cannonball.
A group of people hurriedly rushed to his side.
"Boss!"
"Manger, are you alright?"
"Boss, wake up! Think about your loved ones! What will happen to them if you die?"
...
Seahorse held his arm, with the majestic white silver dragon standing behind him. The legendary Blue-Eyes White Dragon floated, emanating a dominating aura that surpassed its three-dimensional image.
"Hahaha!"
Seto unleashed his classic three-stage laughter. Even without visuals, true Yu-Gi-Oh fans could identify him just by hearing this laugh.
"Hmph, you're simply unworthy," Seto sneered. "What dark duelist? It's laughable. You third-rate duelists rely on fourth-rate decks, and your strength doesn't even compare to the runner up of the duel kingdom competition! Who relied on luck!"
"What does that have to do with anything?" The onlookers thought..
Seto had a peculiar prejudice against Mutou's friends. Regardless of Jonouchi's accomplishments as the runner-up of the Dueling Kingdom, in Seto's eyes, he was merely lucky.
According to Seto's standards, there were only two types of duelists in the world. The skilled ones, and the lucky one. This standard seemed harsh, but no one dared to challenge it, and it made sense.
Annoying as Seto may be, his power was unquestionable.
Everyone contemplated his overwhelming strength and speculated that challenging him would lead to instant defeat.
Yuyu stepped forward.
"Mr. President," he raised the duel plate, "may I have a chance to try?"
"Huh?" Seto raised an eyebrow, his tone slightly softer. "Are you new here?"
Nightcrawler World was a local guild, and the resident personnel had some knowledge of Seto. So Seto was certain he hadn't seen this young man before. If he had, he would remember.
This boy looks completely different from the others... Well, except for his charm and temperament, he's still a bit lacking compared to me. (President Seto, ever so confident)
"Interesting. It's possible, but there are conditions,". "If I were to face every miscellaneous fish individually, it would be never-ending. So, you'll represent your entire team. If you lose, you'll face the city's consequences during the event, and your association won't be allowed to intervene in the City. Do you understand?"
"We stand united, President. Our goal is also the Gurus Group," Yuyu responded.
"The Haima Company can handle it on their own; they don't need a group of so-called 'dark duelists' to interfere," Seto dismissed them impolitely.
Yuyu turned to the crowd behind him and gestured. Nanmu, catching his breath with the help of a few strong men, hesitated before nodding, affirming his trust in Yuyu.
"Alright, we accept your terms," Yuyu said. "However, through this duel, I have a small suggestion that I hope the president will consider."
"Oh? You want to negotiate with me?"
"No conditions, just a personal opinion about the current state of the dueling monster game. I hope to discuss it with the president."
"Hmph, we'll talk if you can really win," Seto's confidence in himself was evident. He didn't even entertain the possibility of losing.
"That's fair enough." Yuyu inserted the washed deck back into the duel plate.
"Duel!" (x2)

Note:
I was going to upload two chapters instead of the usual one because I won't have the opportunity to upload tomorrow. Due to my flight tomorrow, and the settling down process so I may not be able to upload on the 16th either. But guys holy do I feel tired, I already wrote 2 chapters for the other fanfic, so spare me with this one lol
And as a result, the upload schedule might vary depending on your location, as the country I'm traveling to is 18 hours ahead of my current location.
I was originally gonna do 3 chapters for both fanfics… but I guess in total 3 is my limit , but who knows might upload on the 16th actually.
Peace! And hopefully/pray my plane doesn't crush!
