Chapter 158: Acting Dignified
I walked across the cold tundra to the smaller of the two Saalistaja ships, happy that I was wearing my armor. It had felt weird, leaving my ship in an outfit that was the same thickness as my pajamas, but since I was warm, I really didn't care that it defied all logic. My three mates stalked quietly behind me, refusing to let me out of their sight for a moment.
I understood their concern. They didn't want any more random males joining us any more than I did. But I was really curious to see what a kill room was and thought that this would be the best way of viewing one of them. Or, in this case, more than a few.

Devilbesideyou666 Okay... so my first author's note just deleted itself, so here is attempt number two.
I am only going to be releasing one chapter today (hopefully) at 1,500 words instead of 2 at 1,000. I don't know if it will work or not, but I need to play catchup, and my entire household is in chaos.
Last night, we had to put down our 17 year old cat because he fell down the stairs and broke his back. Now my other cat is legitimately grieving, and my 8 year old won't stop crying.
However, if releasing only one chapter on my end doesn't work, then I will write a second one, after I pick up a new kitten and hopefully return balance to my household.
