Chapter 21: Chapter 21: Charles Xavier
--A month Later---
Gambit and Emma trained for the past month in an abandoned warehouse while they lived in a hotel room. The cost of which was covered by Law. And Where did Law get the money for it? It came from the money that Law graciously took from the German Mafia's Boss house.
Law had trained both Gambit and Emma in hand to hand combat. Although Emma was still an amateur but she was improving. Emma managed to use her secondary mutation of organic diamond form. She also learned how to protect other people's minds and her own from other telepaths. She has not learned yet how to alter or delete someone's memories. But she has learned the art of hypnotism.
She could now make normal people do her bidding without them realising it. Of course she didn't do anything bad with it as she uses it only on the people I ask her to get intel from.
She is deserving to be called an Omega ranked Telepath after achieving all of this in just one month.
Along with that, She was already quite educated in how to do business and with the help of Law, they designed the basic framework for their company 'Frost International'.
They decided to introduce Facebook as their first business endeavour.
Law designed the software for it and managed to recreate it during this month. It just needed some final big fixes before it was set to go.
On the other hand, Remy was already a master in using his Bo staff. But Law still made him learn some hand to hand combat.
Using Urahara's geniusness and tech knowledge, he managed to create a better Bo staff for him which had blades hidden at both of its ends and these blades could be fired from the staff as well as return back inside the staff as they were connected with a rope.
Yesterday, Law heard in the news that the tensions between Russia and the USA are rising. He knew it was all Sebastian Shaw doing, wanting to start World War 3.
'Looks like X-Men is starting. The CIA would be approaching Charles for help. They would meet Erik aka Magneto and start recruiting more mutants. They would probably also be coming here.' Law thought
----Scene Change----
CIA DIVISION X FACILITY
Charles Xavier P.O.V
I am Charles Xavier, a mutant who can read minds who was just giving a thesis on mutation a week ago and was now working with CIA as it's special mutant division to deal with the threat of Sebastian Shaw and his group of three other mutants one who has the power to teleport, the other has the power to create tornadoes and the last one is a telepath just like him but weaker. [A/N: I replaced Emma Frost with a random telepath mutant in Shaw's team.]
During our first encounter with him, We lost badly but I found someone with the power to control metals. His name was Erik Lehnsherr. He is driven by rage and revenge against Sebastian Shaw who had done him a lot of wrong. But I won't let him walk down that path because there is no turning back from there.
I managed to convince him to give the CIA a chance and work with them to deal with Shaw. He reluctantly agreed and we decided to search for other mutants using Cerebro, a machine built by another fellow mutant Hank McCoy. Since Shaw had his own team, it's natural we have a team of our own.
I had put the Cerebro helmet and was searching for mutants. I found many mutants but then I found a group of 3 mutants together. One was a strong telepath just like me, the other a mutant as strong as magneto and as soon as I focused my attention to the last one, he starred right back into me. I could see the silhouette of a Shinigami, a death Reaper right behind him. Maybe it was just my imagination but he was unlike any mutant I have seen. I was pretty sure he had sensed me snooping around.
He was powerful, very powerful. I had cold sweat pouring down my neck as I removed the helmet.
Erik and Hank looked at me worried
Erik asked me "What's wrong Charles? Did you not find other mutants?"
"I found the mutants, Erik. And I found much more than what was required. Let's go and recruit the normal mutants first and then see if we would get killed by an overpowered mutant for snooping in places we weren't meant to." I said
"We?" Erik asked confused
"We are in this together bud." as I said that we got to work and recruited a few mutants Darwin with the power of Reactive Evolution, Banshee with the power of Supersonic Screams, Alexander Summers or Havok with the power to throw energy blasts, Angel Salvadore who had insect wings and had the power to throw acid saliva from her mouth and this team was completed with Hank and my foster sister Raven aka Mystique.
Then I decided to take the entire team with me including Erik to the group of these three mutants that I had found about after using Cerebro.
We reached New York City and found the abandoned warehouse where I had sensed these mutants.
I was quite nervous and Erik noticed that and said reassuringly "Why are you so scared Charles? Whoever these mutants are, they won't be able to fight and beat all of us at the same time."
I looked at him and said "I hope my friend that it doesn't come to fighting them."
Erik said "Let's get this over with. I want to deal with Sebastian Shaw and pay him back for killing my mother."
"Erik how many times have I told you, killing him will make you no better than him." I said
But Erik ignored what I said and started walking to the warehouse. Raven gave me a reassuring nod as she too followed him.
