Chapter 53: Trying to remain calm and damage control

Micheal is dead.

I don't know where he is body is.

Fuck.

How do I get out of this?

"We need answers Alpha. We need to know the truth." Atticus, a beta speaks up.

They are impatient and I don't blame them. The answers that they need--I don't fucking have them.

"Micheal is dead," I manage to keep my voice calm. If they sense a hint of nerves coming out of me. They will retaliate and I need to make sure that they are calm all through this meeting.

A heavy silence falls upon the room as my words hang in the air. The news of Michael's death weighs heavily on everyone, and I can see the mix of shock, sadness, and anger on their faces. I take a moment to compose myself before continuing.

"I understand that this news is difficult to accept, and the loss of our pack member is a tragedy. Michael was a valued member of our pack, and his death leaves a void that cannot be easily filled." My voice carries a sombre tone, reflecting the gravity of the situation.
