Despite her heart growing as cold as ice, nearly reaching sub-zero temperatures, she dared not resist, fearing she might worsen his wound.
Xiao Yichen fixed his gaze on Lin Wan. He couldn't quite decipher her current emotions, but he released his grip after some consideration.
Upon approaching Lu Hao, Lin Wan looked at him and said, "Let's step outside and talk."
From Lin Wan's calm demeanor, Lu Hao could tell she had found her composure, albeit he could guess the source of that newfound serenity.
"Okay." Lu Hao nodded in agreement.
"Wait for me. I'll head upstairs and change my clothes," Lin Wan informed Lu Hao.
Lu Hao nodded.
Lin Wan went upstairs to the room, retrieved her phone, and called Luo Ziyan, urging him to come to Blue Bay villa promptly before changing her attire.
Upon returning downstairs, Lin Wan gestured to Lu Hao, indicating they could depart.
Lu Hao began to walk toward Lin Wan, ready to leave with her.
