Chapter 10: Chapter 10: Satanya
In the classroom, all the students could be seen paying attention to the lessons, even Hideo, which is rare. But after a few seconds, the teacher started packing his things.
"See you later." the teacher said calmly.
The students waited for the teacher to leave the classroom, and when he finally did, they all started talking animatedly among themselves.
Hideo, who noticed this, sighed, and rested his head on his desk, closing his eyes.
'Well, boring classes as always, but whatever, I guess.' Hideo thought as he tried to get some sleep before the next class.
But before he could fall asleep, he heard a squeal next to him.
"Gehh." Gabriel said, looking at the papers in his hands.
Hideo opened one eye at this and curiously observed Gabriel.
'I hope it's not the same thing again, right?' Hideo internally questioned himself as a certain memory of Gabriel doing the same thing appeared in his mind.
But he decided to ask to confirm.
"Gabriel." Hideo calmly said, still with his head on the desk.
"Yes?" Gabriel replied calmly.
"What happened?" Hideo calmly questioned.
"Oh, I forgot to do the math homework. Teehee." Gabriel said, tapping her head lightly and sticking out her tongue playfully.
Hideo didn't say anything and just stared at Gabriel with a serious expression.
Gabriel started sweating nervously, waiting for her death sentence.
Hideo sighed, moved his chair, and sat in front of Gabriel.
"I'll pass you mine, write it down quickly." Hideo said as he took out his homework from his backpack.(Be like Hideo)
Gabriel's eyes widened at this. Normally, Hideo would scold her and not give her the homework, but well, he didn't care this time and handed her his assignment with a happy smile.
"Oh, by the way, I forgot to tell you, but I'll confiscate your laptop for a week. Teehee." Hideo said, smiling shyly, (or maybe not, Teehee)
The people who witnessed this in the classroom were surprised because Hideo is usually serious throughout the class and doesn't talk to anyone except his usual group. So, seeing him joke and smile shyly caught them off guard, and without even discussing it, all the girls had the same thought at the same time.
'He must be number one on the list.'
And so, unbeknownst to Hideo and the other boys, a new king emerged in the top 10 boys of the school.
Hideo's expression returned to normal when he saw his classmates' reactions, but before he could pass the homework to Gabriel, someone interrupted them.
"Fufufu, how unfortunate, Gabriel." a girl with red hair and a bat-shaped hairpin said mockingly.
Hideo and Gabriel turned to see who said those words.
"You still haven't done the homework? Looks like I misjudged you." the girl said, laughing.
Gabriel and Hideo rolled their eyes at the girl's remark.
Upon seeing this, the girl stood up from her seat and declared loudly.
"HAHAHA, I am the (future) great demon Satanikia (future), Ruler of Hell. Obviously, I haven't done the homework." Satanya said, laughing.
Upon hearing Satanya's outburst, everyone in the classroom sighed and ignored her. In their heads, Satanya was a chuuni with eighth-grade syndrome, so they didn't take her words seriously.
"Well, you need to put this in." Hideo said, showing his homework to Gabriel.
Gabriel nodded and started writing down what Hideo told her.
"Hey, listen when I'm talking to you!" Satanya said, looking at them.
"I'm trying to finish my homework, so could you stop bothering us?" Gabriel said, looking at Satanya.
Satanya's eyes started to tear up as she heard Gabriel's words.
"So that's Satanya, huh? Gabriel and Vignette mentioned that she's a demon like Vignette and that she's strange." Hideo thought as he observed Satanya.
"Eighth-grade syndrome? I guess not. She's telling the truth, although in an exaggerated and dramatic way. Well, it's better that way so no one takes her seriously." Hideo thought as he watched his classmates ignore the situation.
"Do you want to join us? The teacher will punish you if you don't do the homework." Hideo said, trying to get along with Gabriel's friend.
"Fufufu, new guy, do you think a teacher would scare me? I'm a demon, and humans are nothing more than inferior creatures. Such a thing could never intimidate me." Vignette said with a big smile, laughing a bit.
"I'll show you my greatness in the next period. Hahahaha." Satanya said, returning to her desk and laughing narcissistically.
"Let's just forget about her and give me what's missing." Gabriel said, returning her gaze to the homework.
Hideo shrugged and handed her the rest of the homework.

The math teacher opened the door and entered the classroom, wearing dark glasses, and his magnificent shining head (he was bald).
"I'm collecting the homework, pass it from the back." the teacher said calmly and loudly.
In the back, Gabriel was seen next to Hideo.
"Just in time." Gabriel said with a sigh, wiping the sweat off her forehead.
"Excuse me!" Satanya said, raising her hand.
Gabriel sighed at this and shook her head. Meanwhile, Hideo raised an eyebrow, curious about how far this would go.
"What's the matter, Kurumizawa?" the teacher asked calmly.
"Sensei, I haven't done my homework." Satanya said, getting up from her seat with a proud smile.
"Is that so?" the teacher asked calmly, but anger could be seen on his face.
"I have no intention of apologizing for that, okay? Isn't it the most diabolical thing you've ever heard?" Satanya said with a big smile on her face.

"WAAAAAAAAA!" Satanya could be seen outside the classroom with two buckets of water in her hands, crying loudly.

Hideo was looking at Gabriel and Vignette with a worried expression.
"Shouldn't we do something about her? I think she's more troublesome than Gabriel." Hideo said as he watched Satanya crying through the walls with his god-like eyes.
"I'm thinking about doing something about her." Vignette said as she massaged her forehead.
Hideo and Gabriel nodded.

Finally, classes ended, and it was time for everyone to go to their clubs.
Hideo didn't have anything to do until tomorrow since he couldn't join the art club, so he said goodbye to the others and left the school.
"Hideo!"
Before he could leave the school, someone called his name. Hideo turned his gaze to the source of the voice and found Hana waving at him, with Miko looking at him curiously.
Hideo approached them and greeted them.
"Hello, what are you doing here? I thought you had a club." Hideo said, surprised to see them here.
"We don't have a club, so we thought about going to buy some donuts from MD's. We heard they're half price," Hana said, rubbing her stomach with a smile.
Hideo nodded, understanding their love for delicious donuts.
"Do you want to come with us?" Miko asked with a shy smile.
"Yes, come with us, Hideo." Hana said, nodding quickly.
Hideo shrugged and nodded.
Miko sighed in relief when she heard that, glad that Hideo would come with them.
'This girl intrigues me more and more.' Hideo thought as he observed Miko's behavior.
'I want to uncover all her secrets, and I will.' Hideo thought with an evil smile on his face. But he quickly hid it, and no one noticed. After that brief conversation, the three of them headed to the place where they sell donuts.
