Chen Xin understood whom she referred to.

"Grandmother appointed him as the rank one official in the Ministry of Revenue. Lee Xianwu told me that Prince Wangjie is scheming against me. Should I trust an enemy's son?" Jia Li wanted to know his opinion on the matter.

"Lee Xianwu would not have said that for no reason," Chen Xin asserted. "The Grand Empress Dowager favors Prince Wangjie more. Perhaps, Lee Shimin's appointment will benefit Prince Wangjie in some way," he concluded.
