Chapter 21: Gust
"Is that supposed to happen?" He inquired of the weapons specialist as most people were shocked at this ability. "Yes, but it is very rare." He swung the word again as an even stronger gust of wind followed, "So do I keep the sword?" The weapons specialist looked at John with a smile, "Of course!"
The day ended and John walked to his room with the sword in hand as three other guys were in the room minding their own business, until John walked in, "You're the guy who fought that demon!" The rest of the guys looked at him but really didn't care for who he was.
He saw a weapons rack with guns in it, "So are these yours?" The guy who acknowledged him looked at the gun rack and nodded, "I think guns are better than swords. Range, speed and power are the things you should primarily have over an enemy."
John looked at his sword, "But I have range. With a swing of my sword, you'll be blown away." He looked at John confused, he didn't know if he meant it literally or metaphorically. "Are you serious or are you exaggerating you skill?"
