Chapter 67: 66. Don't Come Here

(T/N: My first semester exams starting tomorrow..Wish me luck)

As the shameless human in front of her shamelessly praised himself, Three-eyed Golden Lion couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off.

Although her power was indeed formidable, considering the fact that her opponent possessed even greater power, there was no need for him to sing her praises.

Sensing an ominous premonition from his words, The Three-eyed Golden Lion took two cautious steps back.

Two steps...

One step...

Step!!!

At that moment, Three-eyed Golden Lion realized that she couldn't move, and panic consumed her. She desperately utilized her spirit power, struggling to break free from this immobilizing predicament.

She has no idea that in Lu Yuan's eyes, her mastery of manipulating ultimate light and ultimate fire was nothing but mediocre.

"Be quiet," He commanded.

Taking a step forward, he approached Three-eyed Golden Lion. His slender fingers gently clenched, causing several long silver chains to materialize out of thin air.

These chains bound the three-eyed golden lion from head to toe, wrapping it up like a meat dumpling and simultaneously extinguishing the golden flames enveloping its body.

"Woo! Whoooo!"

Three-eyed Golden Lion let out a muffled roar of shame and indignation. Unfortunately, her mouth was also bound, preventing her from uttering a complete sentence.

All she could do was glare at the monster before her with eyes full of hatred.

"Don't look at me like that. I'll get embarrassed," Lu Yuan teased, pretending to be shy.

Though he attempted to feign embarrassment, the way he played the role was rather captivating, considering he had never assumed such a persona before.

Casting a disdainful glance at the man who disgusted her to the core, Three-eyed Golden Lion couldn't help but think, "He's a madman! A powerful madman at that!"

Three-eyed Golden Lion anxiously scolded, shifting the topic.

"Are you still watching?. Since you're so eager to see, I'll grant your wish."

Confusion filled Three-eyed Golden Lion as an unknown premonition washed over her. As she observed the young man's unblemished face drawing closer, she finally understood his intentions.

Although she couldn't comprehend how this lunatic had discovered her secret, now was not the time to dwell on that matter.

The three-eyed golden lion emitted a cry worse than that of a dying pig. Involuntarily, her body moved backward, swaying her head from side to side as if attempting to avoid the boy's forehead.

"It's no use," Lu Yuan murmured.

Two large hands quietly appeared beside the three-eyed golden lion's head, gently gripping it.

Her bright golden pupils constricted, and Three-eyed Golden Lion found herself inexplicably able to speak, uttering her first ventriloquism in her entire life:

Don't come here!!"

Unfortunately, it was too late for that plea.

With a light touch between their foreheads, Lu Yuan had already pressed his own forehead against the single ruby-like eye on Three-eyed Golden Lion's forehead.

In an instant, an incredibly dazzling silver light burst forth from the back of Lu Yuan's hand.

The area where they stood, along with a 20-kilometer radius, was instantaneously turned into a silvery-white expanse due to the overwhelming spatial force. The uneven ground displayed various patterns, resembling a massive mithril vein.

The skin on Lu Yuan's forehead suddenly tore open, and blood trickled down his cheeks.

Unfortunately, at that moment, hefell into a semi-comatose state, devoid of the reason and consciousness he should possess.

Otherwise, he would see, perceive... A phantom silver one-eyed figure continuously forming within the bloody frame on his forehead. IIt was like a newly sprouted seed, young and filled with hope.

Although Lu Yuan had lost most of his consciousness, Three-eyed Golden Lion had not. However, in her current state, she would rather lose consciousness than continue to endure. Who knew what kind of eye resided on the opponent's forehead?

Attempting to delve into her memories, she forgot about blocking him from accessing more than half of her recollections. What did he mean by plundering her power of destiny?

In an instant, Three-eyed Golden Lion felt a significant decline in her control over the power of fate.

As she observed the silver one-eyed entity growing stronger, she even sensed a plea from it: "Let me take another bite, just one bite, please."

This is madness! He must be going mad! And I've been infected too!

The Three-eyed Golden Lion struggled desperately against the plundering, but she discovered a sorrowful truth—the Eye of Destiny seemed to be assimilated.

In other words, it was akin to a family dispute where her cousin could only sit by awkwardly, maintaining a polite smile and saying, "Carry on, just pretend I'm not here."

The three-eyed golden lion's perception was not mistaken. The blood-red one-eyed eye on her forehead had been adorned with a delicate silver border at some point.

Admittedly, it looked much better than before. However, it came at the cost of her authority over the power of fate.

The vast, indescribable expanse of the starry sky, accompanied by the radiant silver and golden lights swirling around her, seemed to have lost its direction.

Receiving such an overwhelming influx of information, Three-eyed Golden Lion's mind inevitably fell into a state of paralysis. The silver chains dissolved on their own.

Lu Yuan's body collapsed unconsciously, colliding with the unconscious Three-eyed Golden Lion. They both sank into the golden, soft fur and fell into a deep slumber.

Unbeknownst to them, a great three-headed dog was about to face its doom.

A sudden fist strike, carrying a powerful gust of wind, landed on the Red King. The six canine eyes on its three heads bulged slightly, and its enormous body was sent flying horizontally, teetering between life and death.

The middle-aged man's face darkened, relentlessly pursuing the attack. His anger and formidable strength caused the sky to darken as dark clouds gathered above.

"I assigned you to protect Auspicious Beast and this is your idea of protection?!" the man reprimanded, his voice filled with frustration, yet the Red King dared not utter a word of defiance.

The last time Di Tian was angered, the reckless blind bear inadvertently injured him, resulting in the bear being beaten half to death.

But this time, Auspicious Beast went missing. Well, the Red King had a rough idea of its chances of survival.

To put it bluntly, the Star Dou Great Forest could survive without him, and even without Di Tian, but it couldn't survive without Auspicious Beast.

Even with the Dragon God's presence, the Auspicious Beast Emperor held a role similar to Minister in the Beast Clan. It was not an exaggeration to say that it reigned above ten thousand beasts.

Even if he weren't held accountable today, once this matter became known, countless 90,000 or even 190,000-year-old spirit beasts would come seeking trouble.

And if something were to happen to Auspicious Beast...

Whether maimed or dead...

Red King had sufficient evidence to predict that Di Tian would tear him apart.

With the deadline approaching, which spirit beast would ignore its high probability of a breakthrough?

Considering it from a different perspective, the Red King believed that if he encountered a spirit beast with that mindset, he would probably tear apart that protector too.

There were no spirit beasts in the Emerald Swan family's pure healing department that were willing to provoke, and the Auspicious Emperor Beast, a pure and naturally evolved spirit beast, had no spirit beasts daring enough to challenge it without a breakthrough pill.

Taking a deep breath, Di Tian suppressed the anxiety in his heart. He separated his spirit power into dragon claws, gripping the Scarlet King's dog head and pulling the trembling beast close to his body. Through gritted teeth, he issued his order:

"I'll give you a chance to make amends!. Now! Immediately! Right away! As fast as possible! Use your nose to track down the beast's trail! Otherwise..."

Although Di Tian's words were delivered in an ordinary manner, the Scarlet King already understood the impending consequences.

Trembling, the dog's head nodded, and Red King reluctantly resumed the task he often performed as a teenager—finding prey through his sense of smell.

Or rather, finding the Auspicious Beast.
