Chapter 139: Secret Path

"Considering I have a hearthstone, a portable camp, and some other survival equipment left, it's a decent setup," Ben thought aloud, his voice echoing in the cave. "But a hearthstone of this low level probably won't work on this floor."

Ben made a grim face, feeling stressed. The hearthstone was a one-time use item, and if Ben used it here and it failed, their only escape would be to climb back up to floor 1.

"It's decided then," he said, his voice firm. "I will use the hearthstone once I reach the 10th floor from here."

The dim light from his torch flickered, casting eerie shadows on the cave walls. Ben's abilities allowed him to see even in the minimum light source. He could also use blood vision to see clearly in darkness, but navigating around won't be suitable.
