Sakuramiya Sisters

The other side--

At the top of the stairs, a blond girl with her back against the wall kicked the ground in boredom, ignoring the admiring glances of the students passing by.

As a member of the Kendo Club, she was very popular in the second grade.

Besides that, there's her sister...

"Saya-nee!" Another black-haired girl appeared, and she spotted her instantly. Sakuramiya Hinata waved excitedly, "You're so slow; I've been waiting for a long time~."

She hugged her arm and complained.

"I'm on duty today," Sakuramiya Saya looked at her sister with a hint of helplessness, "Besides, shouldn't you be at the Kendo club? It's club activity time now."

"The Kendo club is off today," to be precise, the girls had the day off.

Sakuramiya Hinata heard that people from the Supernatural Research Department would come to help today, and wanted to go and have a look, but after thinking about it for a while, she decided to wait for her sister first.

The Sakuramiya sisters, Saya and Hinata, were quite popular in school. Not only were they beautiful, but they were also sisters.... Countless boys had confessed their feelings to them.

But all were rejected.

This pair of sisters from a single-parent family were not related by blood, but their relationship was even closer than that of ordinary siblings...

"That's why I came here especially to accompany you, Saya-nee," Sakuramiya Hinata said with a cheeky smile.

"But I still have to go to the archery club," The latter looked a bit helpless, "I can't bail on my club."

"I'll go with you... Speaking of the competition, it's still early. Even if Sister Saya is the ace of the Archery Club, you don't have to work so hard... Really."

The two sisters walked downstairs while talking and laughing.

"It's precisely because you're always in the archery club that you're not aware of the recent happenings in the school, such as superpowers..."

"Hinata, you're still talking about this," Sakuramiya Saya naturally didn't believe her sister when she heard about being controlled, superpowers, and the so called Supernatural Research Club.

"Saya-nee, these are my personal experiences. How could I possibly lie to you?!" Seeing that her sister didn't believe in herself, Hinata was a little unhappy, "You actually don't trust me!?"

Seeing how persistent she was, Saya was shaken.

After all, she was a sister with whom she had a very good relationship, and of course there was no reason to deceive herself.

Could it be true?

Saya Sakuramiya was dubious.

"Even if you don't believe me, you should have heard about the Kendo club incident, right?

If it weren't for the members of the Supernatural Research Club, I can't imagine what would've happened... Even the club president went there to thank them personally."

"That Miyajima-senpai?" Saya Sakuramiya paused, "In other words, the legends in the school are all true?"

"More or less. But they are various adapted versions. As people pass them around..." As she spoke, Sakuramiya Hinata grabbed her sister's hand. "Saya-nee, I'm telling you this because I hope you can also receive an amulet."

She took out her own amulet,

"So you won't be afraid if you encounter any danger~"

It's so beautiful.

Saya touched it and said, "Could it be that the Supernatural Research Club is even more effective than a shrine? I will go and have a look when I have time."

"Let's go together!"

Opening her shoe cabinet, Saya Sakuramiya was about to make a few jokes when she was attracted by a letter placed inside.

She was stunned for a moment and took it out with a calm expression.

"Huh? What is this? Love letter?" Hinata also saw it and came over.

"Probably," the girl was nonchalant.

Anyway she had received a lot of love letters, and her sister had also received her fair share too..

It's just both of them had no interest in this thing.

So she just picked it up and was about to throw it away without even intending to read it.

That's when a photo floated out... It fluttered to the ground, and Sakuramiya Hinata bent down to pick it up.

The next moment, her pupils shrank suddenly.

It was as if she had seen something shocking, and she covered her mouth in disbelief.

"!!"

"What happened? What is it?" Sakuramiya Saya, the black-haired older sister, peeked curiously and then had a similar expression.

In the photo, the two sisters were seen cuddling closely together, sitting on the stone steps and kissing.

"How...how could this happen?!"

While they were close as sisters, Sakuramiya Saya and Sakuramiya Hinata shared a bond that exceeded typical sibling affection..

In today's terms it should be a 'yuri' (lesbian) relationship.

Whether they were inherently 'yuri' or it was just because their relationship as sisters was too good...

No matter what, this photo frightened both of them.

Their secret was seen and captured by someone else...

The two sisters looked at each other, their eyes trembling.

Saya Sakuramiya, realizing the seriousness of the problem, quickly opened the letter.

"How is it, Saya-nee?" Sakuramiya Hinata asked anxiously.

"The photo was taken by someone from the Photography Club... We've really been found out," Saya Sakuramiya pursed her lips, and her hand holding the letter trembled slightly, "He wants us to meet him at the Photography Club."

"The Photography Club? Who is it?"

Sakuramiya Hinata was frightened, scared, and angry.

"A man named Tachikawa...I don't know him."

"I don't know him either."

There was a haze hanging over their hearts, but they obviously couldn't refuse this invitation.

....

Photography Club

It was the first time the Sakuramiya sisters had come here.

With uneasy hearts, they met the president of the Photography Club, named Tachikawa, an ordinary student with an ordinary appearance.

However, the feeling he gave off wasn't good.

It was as if they were being targeted by a hungry wolf.

At this time, he was alone, seemingly just waiting for their arrival.

Was this the guy who had secretly taken their photos?

"You guys were really lured here by a photo," Tachikawa fiddled with the SLR camera in his hand.

"Didn't you ask us to come?" Sakuramiya Hinata gritted her teeth. "Is your photography club a serious club? You secretly took photos of us! And you..."

"Sakuramiya Hinata-san, are you angry? It's just a photo," Tachikawa picked up the camera and pointed it at the two of them, looking at their livid faces with joy. "It seems that you are very concerned about it. Well, I can understand your concern; after all, if this photo is spread..."

"I'm afraid it will be very bad for your reputation, right?"

In a place like Japan, it was easy to become isolated..

Well..as it is said the land of the rising sun, is the land of sushi, sumo and solitude..

Don't get me wrong, this isn't some weird authorial bias against the land of the rising sun.

I mean, even Japanese pop culture seems to love the "lonely heart in a sea of people" trope.

Seriously, if it wasn't a thing, would we really have an entire subgenre of anime where the main character can't even make eye contact without a dramatic soundtrack?..ah wrong genre, maybe.

Well..it is a well-known fact that Japanese people are often cold and indifferent towards others..maybe this is probably a stereotype..anyway if it weren't for this, why would there be so much anime or manga diving into the deep end of social isolation?

So if the news that the two sisters were in a romantic relationship got out, it wouldn't just end with a bit of psychological pressure.

Being socially ostracized would be the least of their worries.

Their lives and their futures might be affected, and even their families might fall apart...

They couldn't afford the consequences of such social criticism.

That was also the reason why Sakuramiya Saya and Sakuramiya Hinata were panicked and scared...

"What do you want to do?! What do you want for deleting the photo?" Compared to her younger sister, Saya was more composed, trying to find a solution. "If you want money..."

"Money? I don't want that kind of thing.," Tachikawa smiled, staring at the faces of the two sisters, then his eyes slipped from their faces to their chests, looking them up and down.

"Rather than money, I'm more interested in you..." he said with that yellow hair lecherous smile.

"You!!!"

Just as Sakuramiya Hinata was about to explode, Tachikawa raised his hand to stop her, "Don't be in a hurry. We are the photography club. It would be even better if I could record a video of you two."

"To be honest, there are many in our photography club interested in the beautiful Sakuramiya sisters. As long as you agree to my request and let us record the video, I will delete these photos."

"No way!!"

Sakuramiya Hinata grabbed her sister's arm, "Even if you delete the photos, won't you threaten us? What a joke, we can't let him have his way!!"

"And you still want to take that kind of disgusting video... obscene! Perverted! I won't accept it!!"

Saya Sakuramiya couldn't accept it either and she nodded through gritted teeth.

"Oh? Then I'll leak this photo, huh? You should be able to imagine what would happen then," Tachikawa's smile was gentle, but in the eyes of the two sisters, it was icy cold.

Furthermore, there was a nauseating lust burning in his eyes.

"You—"
