Chapter 168: The Mission Begins

The morning in the cave where Silver Cross and Metamutan were hiding was peaceful, as they planned their tasks outside the vast district, which consisted of endless sandy land. The light began to illuminate the cave, revealing the sophisticated equipment neatly arranged around them.

Greg, a Meta Mutant approached them with steady steps. In his hands, he carried a seemingly heavy food box. Respectfully, he placed it in the middle of the group.

"Please enjoy your breakfast," Greg said with a smile. "Today will be a tough task for everyone, so I want us all to have enough energy."

They opened the food box and smelled the appetizing aroma of cooking. The contents vary, from snacks to delicious main dishes.

Noa smiled gratefully, "Thank you, Greg. This will give us additional strength to face our mission."
