The passage of time didn't matter much in the Nether Regions, Angels slept whenever they wanted to, the darkness eternal.

In this manner, Andras couldn't really say how much time had passed. His father hadn't come looking for him yet so he supposed not long enough.

Familiar footsteps echoed through the cave, making him sit up, unsurprised to see who entered the cavern with a lamp.

"Andras!" Rolfe sauntered in with a grin, his dark brown hair shaggy. "You're back sooner than I expected."

"I'm surprised you weren't thrown in the dungeons," He quipped, not returning the expression.

The older Angel laughed at this, "We don't have one." He moved closer with his lamp to better get a look at Andras' face. "I'm not allowed to see you though."

"Good thing you're mostly blind." He muttered dryly, realizing that his father must have been really upset by his absence to pass such a strict order.
