Chapter 13: Tumbling down deep the sea Part III

"Eric! Eric!" Bernard shouted from afar. Eric and the others in the control room turned to him. The portly man who had nearly experienced death was running toward them. He panted a little. Fright was all over his face. Eric questioned him immediately.

"What’s wrong, Bernard? What happened?"

"Out... outside...huff…there is a submarine."

"What did you say?!?"

"I saw Jordan and Steve in there. They are back, Eric!" His eyes were wide open after those words. Eric hurried down the way Bernard had run in. The others also came to help find them. They saw a floating submarine at the entrance of the research center. Steve waved his hand as he opened the window. Everyone helped them up.

"Thank God, you guys are safe."
