Chapter 71: Date crasher (2)

I must be out of my mind. Why did I come here? 

Hearing Nico say Catalina was going out on a date made me irrational. Why did I follow her? I was having dinner with Gia and before I could process my thoughts, I had already told Gia I preferred the dessert from a different restaurant and used the chance to find Catalina. 

Of course my resourceful brother knew exactly where her date was. By the end of dessert, I was back to my senses and scolding myself for being such a jerk. 

What was I doing, anyway? It's impossible between us; I should be happy that she has moved on. 

That's what I should have felt but it's certainly not among the things I felt when she intimately grabbed Ben's…Bruce…—whatever his fucking name is—by the arm and declared she was going home with him.
