Chapter 57: List of Potential... 'Employees'
Tenshi flew back to the ship, holding Camie with his Susanoo.
They got back and everyone stared at her with bulging eyes, shouting "A MERMAID!?" Tenshi put her down and his Susanoo dissipated. Tenshi smiled and said "Well, this is it, Camie." Camie looked troubled and sighed, "But how can I juggle two jobs at once? I'll be overworked…" Tenshi brought her inside, saying "Don't worry, Camie. You won't need your other job at the Takoyaki stand."
Kakashi nearly spat out his coffee, staring at Camie in a daze.
Iceberg choked on his doughnut.
Haku stared at Camie in a daze, "A m-m-mermaid!" for some reason, Karin felt a sense of crisis! Camie smiled happily, she was a bubbly person, "Hello everyone! I'm Camie!" Tenshi looked at the reactions and nodded, this is a good reaction, drive some customer traffic.
Bonney was inhaling Tiramisu as she said "You people never see a Mermaid? Jeez!" Bege was sitting with his gang, sipping on an Espresso while tapping his lips with a handkerchief, "Excellent flavor." he sighed to himself, "Perfect for a Sit-Down." his gang all sat around him, sipping on their coffees.
Tenshi looked at him and smiled, very italian. He liked it.
Tenshi began showing Camie how to work as she followed him, wearing a bubble tube around her tail to float around. She nodded every now and then as Tenshi explained gently.
Camie smiled happily and said "No problem, Boss!" Tenshi smiled gently, giving her a little waist apron. She swam around, taking orders instantly, "Hello! Welcome to Hibari's! Can I take your order, Ma'am?"
Tenshi nodded and took over for Haku, making the coffees instead as he served Cold Coffee.
Karin looked at Camie vigilantly, feeling her lovely Haku would be snatched by the newcomer! There could be only one kidnapped employee here!
Tenshi looked at the lively cafe and smiled to himself. Soon enough, he would expand the cafe. By then, he should have…
Tenshi counted on his fingers, a Mermaid, a Mink, Ms Doublefinger… Tenshi tried to think of anyone else… Oh! He nodded to himself, he'll kidnap Conis when he goes to Sky Island… Then he could grab a Tontattan…
Tenshi scratched his chin, maybe even grab Viola for entertainment?
Would two mermaids be bad? Tenshi thought to himself, shouldn't be! He could also kidnap BigMom's daughter, Parline Charlotte, then. But he thought about it, if he was kidnapping BigMom's children…
How could he ignore Pudding? It was impossible.
Tenshi pulled out a paper and started writing the names down…
The top of the page said 'Potential Kidnappees'...
The list was already almost 10 people!
Funnily enough, they were all women.
Tenshi didn't mind this, beautiful women were very eye catching, it drew in customers. Many people will walk in just for them! With that thought, he added Hiyori and Yamato. Then he paused and gasped, he should look for Gild Tesoro.
He added down Baccarat and Carina.
Then his brain exploded with excitement, writing down Uta directly.
A singer was perfect! Plus Uta was world famous! He knew this because they were selling tone dials of her songs. Tenshi was going to grab her.
Before he put the list away, it grew to 12 people…
Not even Pirates were safe… Ulti was written down… Hancock followed, Aphelandra…
As to whether these employees would come to be… well that was for the Future! One thing Tenshi knew for sure was that he was grabbing Zala, AKA Ms Doublefinger, whether she liked it or not.
It simply wasn't possible to leave someone with coffee knowledge out in the world… She either worked for him or went out of business! Competition? Don't even joke! Tenshi wouldn't let inferior coffee exist where he was, this was an insult!
The time passed
Rayleigh walked inside and saw Camie waiting tables. Hachi cried, "Camie come back!" Camie was startled and smiled, "Hacchan!" Hachi cried, "I can't lose my best waitress like this, Camie!" Camie replied in shock, "But I'm the only one!" Hachi cried even harder, "Exactly!"
The people were stunned, a fish person thing! The people from Konoha were amazed! Not as amazed as Camie, that was a mermaid in the legends! Plus she was so pretty and cute! Hachi…
Well, he was Hachi…
That surely counted for something, right?
Rayleigh looked around and walked to the counter, Tenshi smiled gently, "Rayleigh-san, what can I get you today?" Rayleigh looked at the menu and chuckled, "Well, whatever. Though I need Camie back…" Hachi rushed over and cried, "Big Boss, you can't take Camie! She's my only employee! Wuwuwu…"
Tenshi was stunned and looked troubled, "But… she's too cute, she brings in a lot of customers!" Camie smiled happily and Haku nodded, Karin jumped up in shock.
Really a rival in love!
Rayleigh laughed and Hachi begged, "Come on! When you come to Fishman Island, I'll help you find another employee!" Tenshi hesitated and said "Al-Alright…" Hachi cheered and Tenshi was thinking, maybe he should just kidnap Shirahoshi.
She would definitely bring in a lot of customers!
He was a bit troubled, the only problem was she was too big to fit in the cafe… Then maybe Shyarly? Tenshi sighed to himself, what a mess. If Otohime was alive, she would be on the list, right at the top!
Well, Tenshi figured if he found a size-reducing item, he could kidnap Shirahoshi…
During the conversation with Rayleigh, Tenshi found out that the Straw Hats were 'wiped out'. Tenshi knew this wasn't true but he figured it was good timing. Whitebeard would have to come to Sabaody to coat his ships, right?
Tenshi decided he would set up shop at Sabaody until Whitebeard got here, serve him some coffee and then follow him when he left.
He was going to Marineford for the Summit War! Are you kidding? This was the perfect place to advertise! Tenshi was preparing to make a big scene! The Cafe would be closed on that day… or maybe not? It would be nice to have people watching the war, right?
But this was very dangerous so he thought it would be better to close the cafe.
At any rate, this was something to think about later.
For right now, he would focus on managing the coffee shop, selling Cafetieres to the customers on Sabaody. As for the Celestial Dragons… who cared? If they caused a scene, only a look would send them into a social death scene! If he had to record it and sell the visual dials for some extra cash, he would!
So right now, Tenshi was relatively relaxed, only operating his cafe.
