Blue skies.
I had only heard about them and had a faint idea from all the souls that I had absorbed, But I had never expected to see that the blue skies could exist.
Like brush strokes, clouds filled the skies. White, some like fluffy giant mountains others like wispy strokes of a brush.
Around them all, a single black creature cawed through the skies and shot out of my sight.
As I lowered my gaze a bit, I could see the layers of green surrounding me. It was quite a peculiar sensation.
Sounds like these, the rustling of leaves against every single gust of wind, the sounds of the insects that were hanging around in the woods and the bushes.
All of it was so strangely calming.
That wasn't the only thing I had felt for the first time.
A chuckle left me as I focused on the sensations assaulting my entire back. The gravelly ground, slightly damp mud, the small stones stabbing into my back, and the movement of the small insects.
