Chapter 31: You think it's necessary?
Gion took a step forward, asking Saeko to fight her. Saeko agrees, looking at Arata who nods in return.
Saeko had wanted to give Gion a try, so she didn't waste any more time and quickly walked out of the Guild.

Arata didn't move from his seat, only watched the two of them leave the Guild. The other Vice Admirals also came out to watch the two female swordsmen fight.
Garp himself also stayed behind, feeling no need to watch their fight. Arata turned to Kaori and Kaori nodded, understanding what Arata wanted.
After that Kaori walked out, towards where they were fighting. Garp seeing this could not help but become curious.
"Why did you send that girl?" (Garp)
"Kaori has healing powers so she can heal Vice Admiral Gion's wounds later when the fight is over" (Arata)
Garp was surprised to hear Kaori's ability. Healing, was a rare skill in this ocean.
It was rare for word to spread about people having healing abilities due to their small number.
Doctors usually use medical knowledge to make medicine, but some people can use healing abilities with immediate visible effects.
Except for Zoan Devil Fruit eaters, and even then only healing for yourself not for others.
And each type of Zoan has a different level of healing. An example is Marco The Phoenix, the First Division Commander of the Whitebeard Pirates.
Due to the characteristics of the Devil Fruit which includes the Mythical Zoan Phoenix which is an eternal bird of fire, Marco can create healing blue flames.
For Trafalgar Law as a doctor, his Devil Fruit doesn't heal wounds immediately. The Ope Ope No Mi allows the user to create spherical space or "rooms", where the user has complete control over the placement and orientation of the objects within, making the user a Modified Man.
So, Law combined his Devil Fruit powers and medical knowledge to become a capable doctor.
As for the Mansherry case, not many people know because Mansherry never showed herself.
Doflamingo is one of the few people who knows about Mansherry's Devil Fruit ability.
The Devil Fruit that Mansherry ate, Chiyu Chiyu No Mi has the ability which is instantly able to heal injuries to living things in a similar way through her tears.
This is proven when she uses it for herself, provided her tears fall onto the recipient. The biggest power of this fruit that Doflamingo thought to take advantage of recovery against inanimate objects.
The recovery in his mind is SMILE, he will do anything, even though it will shorten Mansherry's life when using it.
With few people possessing this ability, many parties wanted healing ability users to join their side.
The Marines are also in the category of parties that want someone with healing abilities.
But right now the Marines couldn't offend Arata and the others anymore or they would lose the chance the Dungeon had.
"Then why don't you let that girl heal Sakazuki?" (Garp)
"You think it's necessary?" (Arata)
"No, he deserves it" (Garp)
"Wow, straight answer. But I'm quite knowledgeable with the results" Arata smiled a little.
Garp didn't say anything else, and ordered food and drinks to Asuna.
"Don't eat here, go to the cafeteria" (Arata)
Garp got up from his seat went to the cafeteria like Arata said while laughing. Asuna had already headed for the kitchen the moment after receiving Garp's order.

Outside the Guild, Gion and Saeko finally arrived at the scene of the fight just now. They stood facing each other about 10m apart, readying their respective swords.
After that a barrier was formed to reduce the impact caused by their fight.
Kaori was the one who created this barrier, though not as strong as Arata's but still worth using in their fight.
'Kaori-san also came here and created this barrier, I'm not sure she came to help either'
Gion thought for a while when she saw Kaori, she didn't know that Kaori had come to heal her but Gion didn't know.
Immediately thoughts of Kaori stopped and Gion looked at the person in front of her. A female swordsman who has more power than an Admiral.
Taking her sword out of its scabbard, Gion got into a stance and got ready to unleash an attack on Saeko, Saeko herself also did the same.
Gion knew that she would lose, but this fight could be an experience for her and made her stronger. Gion could fight to the limit knowing Saeko would not kill her.
Seeing that Saeko was ready, Gion without saying anything immediately used Soru to move swiftly.
Gion arrived in front of Saeko and swung her sword vertically, Saeko countered with a horizontal swing with more power than Gion.
This made Gion fly back a few meters and her hands went numb a little. Gion already knew that Saeko was stronger but didn't expect there would be such a big difference.
Their body sizes are so different that they don't make much of a difference. Even though Gion was bigger and taller, Saeko's strength was still above her.
Gion didn't slump and immediately attacked Saeko with various sword slashes. Saeko didn't reply, only dodged or parried her attacks.
Saeko let Gion attack first before counterattacking. Neck, arms, legs, stomach, all attacks aimed at it were unsuccessful.
Saeko dodged everything, after seeing that Gion had a bit of an opening, Saeko made successive attacks with her sword.
Gion defended with all his might against Saeko's attack, Saeko did not aim at vital body parts but still caused various injuries.
One heavy sword slash by Saeko rendered Gion unable to defend herself and was sent flying more than 10m. Blood flowed out of her mouth which she immediately wiped away.
Gion stood up and prepared to attack again, but Saeko was determined to end this fight.
Seeing Saeko's movement, Gion also noticed then prepared her strongest attack. The two stared and rushed towards each other, unleashing their respective attacks.
"Flame Breathing : Fourth Form, Blooming Flame Undulation" (Saeko)
"Earth Shattering Crash" (Gion)
(That's not Gion's original attack, I just made it up because Gion's fight hasn't been shown in the manga yet)
Saeko's single fiery slash met with Gion's vertical slash which contained great power resulting in a loud explosion that sent dust flying around.
As many people suspected, Gion lost this fight. But the injuries suffered were quite light, unlike Akainu.
Gion fell on her back on the ground, still conscious but breathing heavily. She wasn't disappointed, this made her even more determined to become stronger.
Saeko walked closer to Gion and stood beside her.
"What a great battle, let's do it again in the future" (Saeko)
"An honor for me" (Gion)
Seeing that the fight was over, Kaori raised the barrier and walked over to the two of them.
Saeko herself could heal her wounds, so Kaori would only heal Gion. Soon the wound healed, back to normal as usual.
Gion and the other Vice Admirals were shocked to learn that Kaori could heal wounds. Gion immediately got up and thanked Kaori.
"No problem, let's go back to the Guild. I'm sure your boss will be back soon" Kaori said while walking back, followed by Saeko
Gion nodded, also starting to walk back to the Guild. Bastille, Momonga, Vergo also followed behind, discussing the fight earlier.
"What do you think?" (Momonga)
"Strong, besides the raw strength, the swordsmanship possessed is also strong" (Bastille)
"Right, I believe that woman held herself back against Gion" (Vergo)
The three of them sighed and thought that their struggle to become strong still had a long way to go.
Even though the Vice Admirals have great power, after seeing the power that Saeko has they feel that the power they have is nothing.
