Chapter 9: First Quest - 1
"That's all the basic information you should know. Now let's go back to the Quest Board, because I think you guys want to do the Quest as soon as possible" ( Arata )
The Kuja Pirates just nodded with a wry smile. They were very curious to quickly do a Quest.
A few minutes of walking they arrived in front of the Quest Board. The number of quests on display is large, the types also vary.
"Please choose for yourself the Quest to be done. I will return to the Guild, if you want to leave, go through the red portal" ( Arata )
"Thank you" ( Kuja Pirates )
After that Arata left the Kuja Pirates.

"There are quite a lot of quests displayed here, how do we choose them?" ( Daisy )
"I want to quest to defeat monsters. I'm quite curious what kind of monsters are on the 1st floor" ( Sweet Pea )
"Good idea. We can get information about monsters and compare it with our strength. Anyone have any objections to this?" ( Ran )
The Kuja Pirates shook their heads. They agreed to the Quest defeating monsters. Their intention is the same, in this new place they must know what can be done and what cannot.
Then they looked on the Quest Board for quests that could be done. After a few minutes Aphelandra showed her the Quest she had chosen.
"Hey, guys. How about this?" ( Aphelandra )
[ Takes 15 Horned Rabbit meat and 10 Horned Rabbit skins ]
[ Reward : 3 Bronze Coins, 200 XP ]
"That's a pretty good quest, I think the five of us can do it" ( Ran )
"I don't mind, but I think we'll be fighting a lot more Horned Rabbits than the Quest says" ( Marguerite )
"Item Drop Rate is also not 100% so we have to be prepared if that happens" ( Sweet Pea )
"So we agreed, let's go to the Guild and meet Arata" ( Daisy )
They left because they found the Quest to be done. Walked a few minutes and they arrived at the Exit Portal.
They again felt the feeling of breaking through a thin membrane when they entered the Exit Portal. After exiting, they walked towards the Guild.
Once inside they saw Arata and the others going about their own business. Then continue walking towards the counter, where Arata is.
"Have you found a suitable Quest yet?" ( Arata )
"Yes, we want to do this quest. It's fine right?" ( Ran )
Arata took the Quest paper and examined it. Seeing that there were no significant problems, Arata agreed for them to do this Quest.
"I see no problem, you guys can do it. The five of you will form a party to do this quest?" ( Arata )
"Right, what's wrong?" ( Marguerite )
"You guys already know how to form a party?" ( Arata )
"...Not yet, how?" ( Sweet Pea )
"In the upper right corner there is an icon. You click on the icon then there is a search field, enter the name of the person you want to invite. The recipient will receive a notification later, if accepted you will become friends. Then select the name of your friend click, then there are several option. Select invite to party and finish. This feature has several functions, namely being able to send messages to each other, knowing whereabouts but this only applies in Dungeon" ( Arata )
Hearing Arata's explanation, the Kuja Pirates immediately sent friends to each other and then proceeded to form a party.
"When it's finished, you can work on it right away. Just follow the directions" ( Arata )
An interface appeared in front of the five of them, indicating that the Quest had been accepted. There is more information about Quest.
"Thank you. We're going first" ( Ran )
"Alright, take care" ( Arata )
Exiting the Guild, they entered the Entry Portal. Once inside, they saw a sight that had been seen before.
Following directions, the Kuja Pirates started walking towards their destination which was to meet a client. A few minutes of walking they arrived at a shop that seemed to be a butcher's shop.
Entering through the front door, they saw a man around 50 years old. The man saw the Kuja Pirates walking towards him.
"Excuse me, we will take the quest you submitted. My name is Ran" ( Ran )
Then the Kuja Pirates introduced their respective names.
"Ohh, so you guys took it. My name is Toda, the owner of this butcher shop. If you want to do it I would be very grateful" ( Toda )
"We will accept it. Can you explain a little about this quest?" ( Marguerite )
"Sure, as you can see this is a butcher's shop. And I was short on Horned Rabbit meat stock so I submitted a Quest in case anyone was interested and here you are" ( Toda )
"It also says here that you need the skin? There's no mistake right?" ( Ran )
"Nothing, I also sell the skins, although not much. You can find the Horned Rabbit in the meadows to the south" ( Toda )
"Okay, thanks for the information. We'll go first" ( Ran )
"Stay safe girls" ( Toda )
Ran and the others nodded and walked out of the shop. Walking away from the shop they started discussing.
"Now, what about our formation? If it stays like this our formation will be unbalanced" ( Ran )
"I can take on the role of a Tanker, on the front row" ( Sweet Pea )
"I am the middle row, I will use the sword" ( Aphelandra )
"I'll probably use the spear as a center row with Aphelandra" ( Daisy )
"Ran?" ( Marguerite )
"For now I will use a bow, but my goal is to become a Support who has Healing abilities" ( Ran )
"Like that, so I will still use arrows. If Ran as a healer then I will attack from behind" ( Marguerite )
"Since everyone has got their respective parts, let's complete this quest" ( Ran )
They nodded and kept walking. A few minutes later they arrived at the south gate. At the gate guarded by several soldiers.
"Stop a minute. You guys want to get out of town?" ( Guard )
"That's right, we adventurers will be doing the Quest. Here are our cards" ( Ran )
The Kuja Pirates show their Adventurer Cards instead of IDs.
"You are indeed adventurers. You can pass, and be careful with monsters" ( Guard )
Ran and the others thanked them then continued walking through the gate. As soon as they exited the city, the atmosphere changed.
Previously they felt safe, now what they feel is danger from various directions. They immediately raised their guard to prepare to be attacked at any moment.
"Somehow I get excited" ( Sweet Pea )
Sweet Pea smiled and the other Kuja Pirates felt the same way.

The first quest has been taken. Ran and friends get excited when they get out of the city. Their fight is about to begin!
