Chapter 72: 72. Darkness

"Damien? Where are you going at this time of night?" Aiden asked his friend over the phone in an angry and frustrated tone. 

"I am going to my office." Damien said while concentrating on the road as he was on his bluetooth.

"Try to be more specific about your answer, Damien. You have tons of offices in New York. Which office are you going to now? And why? It's freaking ten in the night! Go back to your house!" Aiden exclaimed.

He got a call a few minutes ago from Damien's driver saying he is not going home to take some rest after so many hours of journey. He was pissed off after hearing that. Damien always pushes himself way too much. And since the time he saw Hayden with Arabella, he is always trying to keep himself busy by drowning in overwork. This thing made Aiden worried about Damien's health.
