Chapter 69: Chapter 69: Planetary Invasion...

Onboard the spaceship, Lord Frieza gazed upon the holographic projection of the armada with calculating satisfaction. His icy demeanor betrayed no emotion, but the glint in his eyes reflected the anticipation of a tyrant poised to reclaim what he deemed rightfully his. Within the spaceships, the soldiers of the Frieza Force prepared for the impending descent upon the peaceful planet. Each member, from elite soldiers to the most pitiful of combatants, felt the electric charge of anticipation. The air crackled with a mixture of tension and excitement. Whether it was because they were fulfilling Lord Frieza's will or soon able to exert dominance and power over those weaker than them, no one could tell.

Minutes passed with no response from Turles to Frieza's demands. Frieza wasn't one to make peaceful demands. At the five-minute mark, without so much as an acknowledgment that Turles even received Frieza's message, Frieza ordered his men to descend on the planet. "Have fun." He told them with a sadistic smile.

That monkey would have no choice but to show up now when his precious people are dying in front of him. Frieza would not be denied his rightful position as Emperor of the Universe. Nor would he allow that monkey to escape punishment for subjecting him to that tortuous experience in Hell! His brother and father might be fine with being on equal terms with that simian, but Frieza certainly will not! Perhaps he can make a collar for the mutant and have him as his slave if he's particularly obedient.

But from what Frieza has seen so far, Turles was a slippery one. All those years he worked under him, he had no clue when he suddenly grew strong enough to surpass him and his father in strength. No. He had to kill him. Giving that monkey a chance to plot right under his nose again was the height of foolishness! Turles will die no matter what!

Frieza walked to the windows of the ship and looked down on the city being bombarded with explosions and erupting in flames. He could see ants fleeing for their lives, soldiers combating against his own, and mayhem spreading throughout the city. The corner of his lips rose in satisfaction. This view was rather nice. A good background for when he retakes his throne. "Do you hear that Berryblue?" Frieza asked his nanny.

"These scouters work quite well, so, yes," Berryblue responded.

"The sound of my return as Emperor? Millions of souls crying out with joy?" The sounds of innocents screaming could be heard through the scouters.

"I suppose so." Berryblue smiled.

Sometime before the attack on Planet Prime, Bojack was reclining inside an attack ball. A rightfully stolen spaceship after besting Abo and Kado. He spent his time playing around on The Hub. This was something that didn't exist when he was running around, causing havoc across the four galaxies. It was quite an interesting little thing. All he had to do was type in something on the little bar, and it would give him information about that thing.

Through The Hub, Bojack managed to learn more about his rivals in universal domination. Turles, Frieza, and Cooler. However, Cooler hasn't been seen in a long time, apparently. So, Bojack wrote him off his list and focused only on Frieza and Turles. Frieza was the previous ruler of the universe until Turles overthrew him or took over while he disappeared? It wasn't quite clear how the two held the position at the top, but Bojack knew that they were both considered rulers of the universe with Turles having more power despite them ruling half of the universe together.

Nothing on The Hub gave Bojack any clues about their strength except that they were the strongest. However, he did manage to locate Turles' headquarters. A planet called Planet Prime. Lucky for Bojack, he could redirect this spaceship directly to that planet. Which means he could find Turles and eliminate him. Taking his place as the ruler of the universe.

However, something strange happened as Bojack redirected his spaceship to Planet Prime. After pushing in the coordinates for the planet far across the universe, a holographic screen appeared in front of Bojack's face. A dark-skinned man appeared with a small grin on his face. In an instant, Bojack recognized that arrogant visage.

"Bojack, the infamous space pirate that was known across all four galaxies for his ruthlessness and power. Greetings, I am Turles, the Emperor of Universe 7." Turles greeted.

"Wipe your neck for me. I'm coming for my throne." Bojack softly laughed.

"I look forward to the attempt," Turles smirked. "However, you aren't the only one who has ideas about taking my position. I hope you manage to make it to me in one piece. Who knows what could happen in this large universe of ours?" Turles left Bojack with that cryptic advice before he vanished.

Bojack cracked his knuckles as he got in a comfortable position. It's been a while since he's had a satisfying fight. Hopefully, this supposed Emperor of Universe 7 will deliver. If not, he was fine with that, too. It's been some time since he's snapped someone's neck personally.

As the Frieza Force descended upon Planet Prime, chaos unfolded in the vibrant cityscape. The once bustling streets became a slaughterhouse, and the air was thick with the acrid scent of burning buildings and corpses. The armadas had soldiers flying out of them in large groups. Frieza's soldiers spread throughout the city like a swarm of starving locusts. Their high battle powers, compared to the average person's, turned buildings to rubble and sent civilians scrambling for cover. The terrified screams of families torn apart by the sudden onslaught replaced the once joyous laughter of children playing in the streets.

The marketplace, once a lively hub of laughter and innocent games, had transformed into a nightmarish tableau of devastation. The vibrant stalls, which had once enticed passersby with exotic fruits and colorful fabrics, now lay in ruin, their remnants scattered across the ground like shards of a shattered dream. The air, once fragrant with the enticing aromas of fruits and alive with the animated chatter of haggling vendors, now carried the acrid stench of smoke and the distant echoes of explosions. What was once a bustling center of commerce and daily life had been mercilessly transformed into a grim war zone.

Rhea and her friends, who had once reveled in carefree games and admired the Planet Trade Organization's soldiers as heroes, now cowered in fear. Terror replaced innocence, and the reality of a planetary onslaught shattered their perceptions. The children, wide-eyed and trembling, huddled together amidst the wreckage of what was once their playground. The remnants of vibrant fabrics and the shattered remains of exotic fruits surrounded them like a macabre mosaic.

As explosions echoed in the distance and the clatter of gunfire filled the air, the children clung to each other, seeking solace in their shared fear. The soldiers they had admired were now their only hope, the thin line between them and the encroaching chaos. The once-pristine image of the Planet Trade Organization's soldiers was crumbling, and in its place, the children felt true fear for the first time in their lives. Prayers and desperate pleas for salvation emanated from the terrified group. The once-invincible soldiers were now their lifeline, the last hope against the relentless tide of destruction. Rhea and her friends, their eyes wide with fear, looked towards the chaos, desperately hoping for a glimmer of the heroism they had believed in.

Jarek, the diligent laborer, suddenly found himself thrust into a nightmare as explosions erupted around him. The once-calloused hands, accustomed to the routine of tending to the city's workings, now grasped desperately for safety amid the chaos that unfolded. The peaceful, bustling city had transformed into a battleground where every step could lead to death. Jarek's every instinct screamed at him to seek cover as he darted between collapsing structures. The world he once knew was crumbling around him. Debris rained down like deadly confetti, each fragment a potential threat to Jarek's life. The ground beneath his feet trembled with each explosion, adding an extra layer of urgency to his desperate dash for cover. The once-proud structures that defined the cityscape were now crumbling into useless piles of rubble that posed a life-threatening danger.

In the midst of the chaos, Frieza's soldiers advanced with ruthless efficiency. Their cold, unyielding presence added an air of malevolence to the already nightmarish scene. Jarek, driven by survival instincts, navigated the treacherous landscape, dodging not only the falling debris but also the eyesight of the invaders. The laborer's heart pounded in his chest. The streets had become a war zone, and Jarek, caught in the crossfire, became a reluctant participant in a battle not of his choosing.

As he sprinted through the chaos, Jarek glimpsed the devastation that had befallen the city. Buildings smoldered, their once-sturdy frames now reduced to skeletal remains. Jarek's thoughts raced, his mind torn between seeking refuge and comprehending the sudden turn of events. With each nimble dodge and desperate sprint, Jarek clung to the hope that he could navigate the perilous terrain and emerge unscathed from the war zone.

Officer Mariel faced the daunting task of orchestrating a defense against the merciless invaders inside the command center on Planet Prime. The once pristine and organized room had transformed into a frenzied war room, where the clamor of urgent voices drowned out any semblance of order. Holographic displays, once used for routine planetary monitoring, flickered with chaotic scenes of destruction. Reports of casualties and the extent of the damage flooded in, creating a disorienting collage of devastation. Mariel, a beacon of panic in this, stood before the central holographic screen, desperately trying to make sense of the unfolding nightmare.

"Report on the eastern quadrant! What's the status?" Mariel barked out orders, her eyes scanning the constantly updating data. The holographic images shifted rapidly, showcasing the relentless advance of Frieza's forces and the havoc they left in their wake. A harried officer shouted back, "Eastern quadrant defenses compromised! Civilians requesting evacuation, but the soldiers sent to aid them are under heavy fire!"

Mariel's brow furrowed in frustration, but there was little time for her to dwell on individual tragedies. The overarching goal was to minimize the impact of the invasion and protect as many lives as possible. She directed her attention to another officer, "Deploy the Defense Force to the southern district. We can't let them breach the residential zones!" Mariel couldn't even maintain a facade of unwavering resolve. The holographic screens displayed live feeds from different parts of the city, each scene more disheartening than the last. The once-thriving metropolis had become a battleground, and Mariel felt the weight of responsibility pressing down on her shoulders. This was supposed to be the safest planet in the universe… Why the hell was this happening?!

"Get me a direct line to Lord Turles!" Mariel's voice cut through the tumult as she attempted to establish contact with the ruler of Planet Prime. She knew that Turles needed to be informed of the dire situation unfolding on his once-peaceful planet. An officer frantically worked on the communication console, attempting to establish a link. "No response from Lord Turles, Officer Mariel! I'm not getting any signal from the palace!" Mariel nearly dropped her head as a sense of despair almost swallowed her in one go.

As the city burned and its inhabitants suffered, a white sphere hurtled through the atmosphere. The attack ball crashed onto the planet's surface, sending shockwaves through the already beleaguered city. Smoke billowed from the impact site, obscuring the devastation that had already occurred. From the smoke emerged Bojack's menacing presence, adding another layer of dread to the unfolding catastrophe. His gaze scanned the chaos around him, a wicked grin forming on his face. The Frieza Force soldiers, momentarily taken aback by the unexpected arrival, quickly regrouped and trained their weapons on the intruder—another one to the slaughter.

Bojack chuckled a low and menacing sound that cut through the sounds of destruction. "I guess I could have a bit of a warm-up before taking Turles's head." The soldiers, recovering from their initial surprise, unleashed a barrage of energy blasts toward Bojack. With a casual sweep of his hand, Bojack deflected the attacks, his ki flaring with raw power.
