As Rowan had promised, the young man refrained from saying anything to their father regarding Suri's condition. The preparations for the departure of the intercontinental expedition ship were well underway. The entourage of Thebis had also gathered to bid farewell to the Northendell's expedition group.

Aunt Aimee arrived a bit late. She sobbed in Uncle Lazarus' arms when it was time to say goodbye to Eleazer. Uncle Lazarus, on the other hand, appeared so proud of his son.
