Chapter 163: The Little Mouse

Suri tried to free herself from the hatchling. Fifteen minutes had passed. She had to come back soon, so no one would suspect her. However, when Suri managed to escape, the hatchling started crying even louder.

"Oh my gosh ... Mama … Papa ... I'm sorry. But... I don't have any other choice," muttered the girl as she picked up the hatchling and hid it in the pocket of the apron she was wearing.

"You stay there. I will take you to my place. If you make a sound, this won't work," Suri said, asking the hatchling to keep quiet.

After making sure that the hatchling would not cry again, Suri ran back and saw the servants and maids had gathered at the meeting place earlier. She put her hand inside her pocket and touched the hatchling so it would not cry at times like this.

In one way or another, Suri managed to leave the pavilion safely and returned to her room with the hatchling in the pocket of her clothes.
