Edna sat on the floor while trying to balance her body.
"Are we going to be like this until we cross the dark sea? Can we survive?" asked Edna who was getting desperate.
"I don't know. I'm not strong enough to fly from here to home. Maybe Master Max can do it, but I never will. Besides, if I fought the storm out there, I might end up being the sea monsters' meal."
(Luca, call the servant for me)
Suddenly, his master's voice buzzed in Luca's head. He was grateful that the man didn't call him.
"Eden, you were summoned by Master," Luca said, making Edna groan in annoyance.
Luca laughed at Edna's obvious objection. For the first time since he had met the girl, he saw her reluctance to do something for Maximillian.
Edna already knew that dragons could communicate using telepathy. That was the coolest thing she had ever heard! Now Edna understood the reason Luca and Maximillian never had a conversation when they had their meal in the backyard of the old mansion.
