Chapter 100: RAGNAR

I believed that we would eventually reach locations that were better than the ones we had already traveled through, including the scene in which Ragnar, my new hero, duelled the large pack warrior who had challenged him to a duel, but instead, it appears that we have reached the absolute worst.

The road itself was rocky and rough, clogging the wheels of the wagon we were riding in to the hill countries, and there were too many large bones of dead animals left at the roadside.

Perhaps I should say that we had reached the hill countries, and I suppose that this was the reason that the hill countries of Nevea were thought to be the residence of a horde of rogues.

I had seen it for myself, how the duel happened, and how the rogues of the pack warrior were absorbed into Ragnar's company.
