Chapter 30: Venomous Thoughts

It was the second time today that someone had warned me that I was going to be punished. And at this point, it had just become really funny to think about how I was to be disciplined.

What was he going to do, throw me in a different room where I wasn't supposed to be?

In addition to this, I had no idea why I was being punished in the first place or for what infraction it was intended to correct. 

I was still confused as to why they were so opposed to me standing up not only for myself but also for another person and defending myself against someone who was a damn bully. 

It never occurred to me that being able to defend oneself against being looked down upon could be considered a sin.

I could still feel his gaze burning into my skin as if it were examining each and every part of me.
