Chapter 98: New General

Veridiana as a whole has been officially shut down with all businesses forced to be closed down due to the nation's immediate state of Martial Law. 

The only sound that came from the Kingdom was the movement of the soldiers patrolling the street with their weapons. And with every group, at least one wizard was following them, helping them just in case.

However, the King of the nation, Adrian IV was not inside any bunker, matter of fact, he was outside in the open with his men, Michael was there too to deliver what they expected to be the 'good news.'

"Did the Great Wizard approve?"

Michael sighed, seeing that the many eyes that were around were very hopeful, and the King was too, many of them considered him as the only way to win without sacrificing many lives. 

But being forced into a corner he nodded, "But, he will only help you when you need it."

The King shrugged, "At least we have his help. But did he tell you he will be coming?"
