Chapter 50: 8th Circle Threat to Veridiana Part 2

Captain Roland shuffled the letters personally, trying to find the letter of response from Emerald City, "Aren't they supposed to send a response already?"

"The post office is not that great, Captain… I don't think our letter might have reached them yet…" The guard commented. Both of them are in the castle.

The King and the Royal Family, alongside the Prime Minister and his family, have been kept in the bunker surrounded by an army and Great 6-circle Wizards.

A guard knocked on the door, "Captain, Sir Michael has arrived at the gates, what's your order?"

"Sir Michael? He came here personally?" He whispered to himself before shouting, "Let him in! And escort him to me."

The guard nodded before escorting Sir Michael into the castle and into the Throne room, which has kind of become the meeting room.

"Sir Michael, I really appreciate you coming here." Captain Roland bowed his head.
