Chapter 11: Envy

Jed and I walk into the library to do our art work as it's almost break time. I settle on a chair and he settles on the one next to mine.

"So, who's your inspiration?" I ask, my elbows on the table and my hands cupping my face.

"You". He says.

"I'm sorry, what?!"

"I'm dead serious, it's you. I've become serious in all I'm doing because of you. You inspire me to do a lot. I'm making achievements, correcting things and taking positive new turns since I met you".

"Awwn". I say.

"What of you?"

"Cameron". I see the hurt in his eyes when I mention Cameron.

"Ah, you must really like him".

"Like?!" *scoffs* "Pff, no. I really love him". I say.

"I'm happy for you. But he doesn't seem to like you".

"What?! No, of course he does, we just had a little fight that's all. We're gonna be fine. So, enough of us, let's get to work". I say in a whisper.
